SPRING
SPRING
Once again the woolens are dry-cleaned and packed in ziplock bags with balls of naphthalene
The needle on the weighing scale shows less than previously
With the shedding of layers of clothing.
What a relief!
Morning mist and allergies have taken a back seat
Replaced by sunshine streaming, through the window panes
Barren fields have turned emerald green, interspersed with golden marigolds, and yellow mustard flowers, waving in the breeze
There is a feeling of euphoria all around with the colors of spring
making a splash wiping the starkness of the winter season
