I can't let you stand at the edge of dungeon,

The dark devouring you in its hades,

In times of trial I can't let your bones break in  mordant pain

And your benumbed soul declining in dread.

I shall be your defensive halo assuring you through all menace,

Because I love you....

I can't let you soar beyond your reach,

Being conceited of elevated stature you may disregard figures on land to be negligible.

I can't let your demeanor to be indignant and impertinent

For when you shall lacerate an immaculate soul with your pointed words

Heaven may punish you for your conduct so ignoble.

I shall be your moral conscience and guide you to a more noble path,

Because I love you......

I shall never let you deflect your originality,

For I love the person who is so intrinsically appealing to me.

I shall ensconce you in my arms and feel the warmth of your throbbing heart

Placing my ear on the hard wall of your chest in glee.

My bonanza to be in the world of my beloved and walk any miles for your sake

For I know this is my only amaranthine of bliss where I can reside in peace.
