Tragedy

It's Called Depression

It's Called Depression

1 min 195 1 min 195

I'm just one million pieces

Such an easy problem to solve

A life spent pretending

That God loves me from above

I'm a shattered old dusty mirror

Which even my shadow does not reflect

I'm an ocean born of sorrow

For this life I am the reject

A dull ache never leaves my heart

For tomorrow's liberty never releases

From trying to claw my way back from hell

Hiding those wrists with blood stained sleeves

So they say it's called depression

But you cannot give a name to everything in one's life

As it's something that engulfs an entire soul

An entity impossible to beat in this fight

The scars it has left that are external

Compare not to the pain buried deep inside

As it is born of a torturous evil nature

I am now forever death's lost and lonely bride
