A Sad Poets Society

A Sad Poets Society

Our sad poets society,

Is compiled with much variety.

All ages, genders, races and religious beliefs,

But the one thing that unites is our grief.

You and I have never met in person,

But we suffer with such similar aversion.

Life has thrust upon us a lifetime of suffering and pain,

But our words so profound have not been written in vain.

When we put ink on this page,

To express such raw emotion takes much courage.

But their is relative truth in these words,

They compile the soul of their author's entire world.

So when you relate to what the ink writes on this page,

No matter how you feel, from happiness to complete rage;

You can know you are not alone in all the pain you feel,

As all of us who suffer, it's a hell that's all too real.
