Lovers Moonlight

Is this life a trance or a dream as we dance upon the moon?

Or am I blinded by the moonlight as your enchantment left me swooned?

And now each sunrise greets me each morning as I awake with a mystified smile,

As my footprints leave their mark upon the sand, a journey I began when I was a child.

The tick-tock of the clock has now stopped ringing in my ears,

As when you walked in to my world you took away all my fears.

I could never have foreseen that my existence could have become a real life for me,

As my saviour has stolen my heart and from a lonely dark abyss has set me free.

Each moment now I cherish so dear as the mirror reflects my happy ending,

As the other side of the mirror so obscure I will never be returning.

You are my light amongst the darkness and now the bearer of my heart,

Now, we can grow old together and until death we shall never part.
