Is Bitter Better
Is Bitter Better
Bitter is Better but for me Bitter was Brutal
In a world of sweet melodies and harmonies,
I stood apart, embracing the bitter symphony.
For bitter was taste, chosen potion,
A path less travelled a unique devotion.
Bitterness, a flavour misunderstood,
But for me, it held a different mood.
It spoke of resilience, of battles fought,
Of lessons learned, of strength sought.
Through hardships faced and challenges endured,
I found solace in bitterness, unexplored.
It forged souls, like fire tempers steel,
A bitter truth that only I could feel.
But as time went on, bitter turned brutal,
The taste grew harsh, relentless and brutal.
What was once an acquired taste of my own,
Now gnawed at spirits, weary and alone.
The bitterness that once fortified the core,
Now threatened to consume to the core.
The bitterness I sought to embrace,
Now felt like a suffocating embrace.
Yet, within the depths of Bitter's reign,
I discovered a truth that eased the pain.
For in embracing bitterness, I had grown,
I had learned to rise, to claim my own throne.
And so, I stand here, weathered and scarred,
With bitter memories that have left marred.
But bitter is better, for it taught me well,
To face life's challenges, to break through the shell.
For bitter was brutal, but it made me strong,
Resilient souls, who've endured for so long.
Bitter is better, truth can't deny,
For in the bitterness, found the will to fly.
