Into The Woods
Into The Woods
“Fear not going to minacious wood,”
Said mother to her Robin Hood.
“There are trees, there are birds,
Animals living in herds.”
“But mother, what if attacks a beast wild
And comes to eat up your child?
Who will come for my help
Deep into the woods when I’ll delve.”
“Fear not, for they are benign and calm
They’ll not bother, if you don’t harm.
You do your work and let them be.
They’ll neve
r come to harm thee.”
With conviction and trust
He galloped leaving behind dust.
Into the woods that looked hallowed
Soon wondrous vista followed.
Taking a trip down the memory lane
Recalled Robin Hood in fain.
Fear in him was lost in air thin
As mother, instilled trust within.
Loved was he by all brute wild,
When he spent his days exiled.
The woods were his home,
Fearlessly where he did roam.
