The Happy Days And Gloomy Nights

All the perfect happy days, 

Adore my life from time to time, 

But on all the other imperfect days, 

Gloomy nights pass me by. 

But what is Life without the Fall? 

What is Life without the High? 

T'will be alright, just you be strong, 

As our time here slowly flies. 

Hear the birds singing songs? 

The cool wind is gusting by, 

The flower's falling, fruits are born, 

I know it's hard but we can try, 

To see the beauty all around, 

The shooting stars are burning down, 

The light they cast will find you now, 

Don't worry dear, be here and now. 

The caterpillar dies, butterfly is born, 

It flies and swirls around, 

The flowers are adorned, 

The sky is grey today, 

But yesterday t'was blue, 

Life is nothing but, 

A balance of the two. 

The coffee mug smells good, 

The bookshelf must be renewed, 

The friendly smile you give, 

The kindness that you show, 

The sun will rise again, 

After the heavy snow, 

The days are bad today, 

But who's seen tomorrow, 

And if it's good today, 

Don't you live it hollow. 

For Life is but a balance of the two, 

The dark, the light, the good and bad, 

The tear, the smile, a lovely chat, 

A friendly hug, the last goodbye, 

The ones who lost the dears of their lives, 

The silent and the sleepless nights,  

The Love of your life holds you tight. 

But Life is but a balance of the two, 

The Happy Days and Gloomy Nights.
