I Look Back
I Look Back
I look back to see a timorous school girl at
The corner of a classroom;
Reading a book absent-mindedly, peeking
Out in anticipation,
I look back and see a young girl on her way
To give a intrepid look as to
Veil her agitation,
I look back and see a chaotic girl trying to
Consummate the unrealistic
Expectations of society
I look back and see a fitful girl in agony
Capitulating her wishes for
Other's fectility
Wearied with all these she looks up determined
To end up all the compulsions and
Ascend to win
Today I only look back to see how far I have come.
