Predestination of a girl

Predestination of a girl

The flickering lights of the street did tremble her steps;

Last night's nightmares were all flashing through her mind,

She quickened her steps hearing a stranger's voice at 11'o clock that night

"She" was a very bold confident girl but found herself helpless here,

One of them grabbed her phone and the other pulled her ruthlessly,

The trees aside witnessed another such act.

The misogyny, the pain was even being felt by the streets, the buildings couldn't help

The girl was raped gruesomely

It was made an issue ironically like every time she was accused by the society.

Such creatures who did this offense were called homosapiens right!

They were approved by our society.

After all, it was their sole proof of masculinity

And the question is who is at fault

The pestilent creatures I mean the rapers

OR

The society which didn't support the girl unless she died.
