Horror
Horror
He walked in the midnight,
Out in the streetlight,
On the pavement,
Suddenly a blast,
Went past tearing the sky,
Throwing bricks and mortar,
Smoke Up, very high.
The buildings trembled,
The sky grumbled.
The cries echoed from the rubble,
The countries bombarding,
The innocents bellowing,
The leaders arguing, scheming,
at the cost of living, of simple people,
Who, for a square meal struggle,
to be buried under the rubble.
The horror of war torn town.
