HERO

Mini was 3 years,

Raman, 11 years. 

Hand in hand they would romp around. ,

Collecting berries, wherever they found. 

He taught her ABC ,

and poem Little Boe peep,

She listened to him in awe,

always holding a straw.

He narrated stories of heroes , Sun , moon and stars.

She loved them, and dreamt of stars that were far.

He told her of sailors,

their braveries, their valor.

He shared his toys,

she grew up to be a tom boy.

He taught her to fish,

to make savoury dish.

He sang to her lullabies,

put her to sleep and kissed.

Good night my baby sister,

,to protect you, I am here, your brother!

Let your worries be mine,

May , in your life there be Sun shine. 

One day , while strolling along the sea shore,

Mini was swept away by waves.

Mini gasped for breath,

struggling , crying for help. 

Another wave carried her far away,

Raman dived into the water,

braving the waves , that were , there to shatter.

and pulling her out, saving his sister, 

was all that mattered. 

But mini was unconscious.

Raman shook her vigorously, pumping her chest, doing his best. 

Mini, you are not leaving me.

To you I will sing Little Bo Peep 

Please wake up from your sleep. 

Mini woke up with a jerk, shouting Raman, Raman.

Thrilled at his sight, 

shouting, brother I am alright. 

You are my HERO !!

Hero! you are! my brother!
