The Himalayas

"Himalayas, the chapter from my school days,

Which always used to keep me awake,

That blurry black and white image,

With white fur like blanket and snowy glaze.

Read that chapter once again,

And suggested my parents to surf the internet,

In order to find trip and tour packages,

They were happy to hear that the trip included Nepal and other amazing places.

We started from Kathmandu's trek where we visited temples and royal palaces,

Then we moved on through friendship highway in Tibet,

Very basic places to stay but the Himalayan ranges seemed beautiful from the Shigatse village.

We also visited China's Yunnan Province gate,

But we all had Indian Himalayan crazz,

Gangtok's Chogyal palace and Darjeeling backdrop of forested way,

Left us speechless and we uttered, 'WOW' out of praise.

Roamed the town of Dharamshala clung to a steep ridge into a snowdrift passage,

Time passed and we reached to Ladakh at fast rate,

Then took a look at the wealthiest monasteries and Pangong lake.

Second last day we enjoyed in Leh,

And drove to see Buddhist art in Alchi village,

We also observed Nubra Valley, the network of tiny, isolated villages joined by hiking trails.

Finally, we had to fly back because it was time for our trip to be ended,

So we pilgrimed to Golden temple, sought blessings and waved off to the unforgettable Everest Mountain range."
