One Last Battle
One Last Battle
A shiver seep my bones,
As I write this in red,
For ink won't do justice,
To my words and my pain.
I have bled before,
But this time is different,
It's the end of my suffering,
As I can feel myself drain.
If they ask about my actions,
Tell them my story,
How I was on a road so endless,
But my time was limited.
Tell them of my battles,
My blood and my patience,
Tell them of my duties,
And how I wasn't a slacker.
If I have to be remembered,
Think of me as a warrior,
How I had fire and chaos,
Wrapped on my fingers.
