Lost

When I saw him for the first time,

I lost myself in his eyes.

When I met him for the first time,

I lost myself in his soul.

When he started caring about me,

I lost my caring nature for others.

When he started respecting me,

I lost my respect for others.

But, when he started cheating on me

I lost my courage to fight,

When he said I am just a good friend of him,

I lost my ability to love.

When I realized that I lost a lot because of him,

I was too late because by then I had lost myself forever.
