Raw Love

If you ask us about love,

I'll call it a myth; but

Remember when we were kids?

It was all that we bled. 

The romance of childhood,

Was the demise of an adult,

The love of a grown-up,

It is nothing but lust. 

So for once in my life,

I want to be a kid,

Live one last time,

Being smitten like it's a crime. 

Hands in hands,

Eyes and smiles, 

Love so blind,

From dusk to rise.
