I'm lost in a Book!

Once a strange book sucked me in it,

 And took me to a strange world, 

Never think that I’m lying, 

As it may sound absurd. 

 

The book took my dog with it, too, 

In the strange world with me, 

Do you wonder what happened next? 

Just wait and watch and see. 

 

As I entered the strange land, 

I saw houses in rows, 

The next thing I saw there, 

Made me raise my brows. 

 

A Gnome walked towards me, 

And said hello, 

About what to say at that moment, 

I didn’t know. 

 

Then I said to the Gnome, 

That I’m lost in a book, 

With my little dog, 

And I gave a sad look. 

 

The gnome thought for a while,  

And he said Yeah, 

“I’m so witty, 

I got an idea!” 

 

He took me to his house, 

And gave me some water to drink, 

He told me that about how I’d go home, 

He will think. 

 

He took me to a house, 

Where we met a strange witch, 

For she had such a big house, 

I thought she was rich. 

 

She said some strange words, 

And a huge black hole came towards me, 

Now I was in a whirling white space, 

I was so scared, that I didn’t dare to see.  

 

Suddenly I found myself in a bed, 

As I was about to scream, 

But I wasn’t lost in my book, 

But it was just a dream!
