The Hare and the Tortoise

Let me tell you a story,

Of a little hare,

Who thought the winning of the tortoise,

Was not at all fair.

He accepted his loss,

And was in for a new challenge,

He told the tortoise,

He wanted a revenge.

The tortoise accepted his challenge,

And arranged another running race,

Between the hare and the tortoise,

To check who had the fastest pace.

The race began with a gunshot,

As usual, the tortoise was left behind,

But no one knew his plan,

Which he had in his mind.

The tortoise grabbed a pair of skates,

And set off into the forest,

And soon caught up with the hare,

Who had no intention of taking another rest.

The tortoise was so fast,

That the hare didn't even see,

That the tortoise already went past him,

So effortlessly.

When the hare approached the finish line,

The tortoise was already there,

Smiling at the hare,

Oh, this is not fair!
