Garderners
Garderners

Married happily for forty years
Widowed for the last ten
He chanced upon this woman
Selling fresh orchids
At the farmer's market
Strong and stout with large hands
That could only belong to one
Who rakes the earth, places seed,
Waters them, rewarded seeing
Orchids blossom
They struck an instant rapport
He too was a landscaper of repute
So much in common to talk about
Nature had created a wonderful
Serendipity and brought them close
