Fury Unleashed

Fury Unleashed

1 min
254

Far in the horizon sighted them

In a round table conference

Debating amongst themselves

Whether to march on ahead

Attack, bombard, pelt them

With downpour, that would cripple

Cities, towns, and villages,

Blow away rooftops, uproot trees,

Make the inhabitants homeless.

A war Rain Gods declared

In retaliation for sins committed

By man with little disregard for

Maintaining the eco balance.

Was too late to reverse the situation

Floating across dark and ominous

Came the cloud bearing rains

Shooting cannons of water over land

War commenced with fury unanticipated

And all came to naught, no prayers

And supplication could change events

Of the deluge that struck with vengeance.
