Dwelling In Reality

I do not wish to have extraordinary powers,

I want to be extraordinary with the ordinary abilities I possess.

No invisibility, super strength or speed I need.

There are people whose heart beats for others,

Who put other's needs before theirs,

They are actual superheroes

And like them I wish to become.

If everyone was such,

There would be brighter days,

Joy all around it would be,

We would turn fiction to a real place.

Everyone can be a superhero,

Being kind and compassionate is the key,

There would be real life heros and champions,

The fiction would turn to reality.
