An End To All
An End To All

Someone asked me,
If you could be anything except yourself,
What would you be?
I thought about the free birds in the sky,
But threatened by the danger to their lives
I don't want to be an endangered one.
A river, this crossed my mind
But getting polluted and dried up
I don't want an end like this.
Tree, that's what I thought I want to be
But rising to flames or being murdered
I cannot bear the torment of thi
s.
Bearing life, a vast ocean I thought
But taking lives of the entire ecosystem by the pollution
I would not want an end to that.
A sky perhaps!
No, I don't want to choke in smoke
Surely, I don't want this too.
A planet?
It would be a matter of time
When the species would bring an end to me.
Nowhere lies the life I want to live,
I replied saying,
I want to become a better human.
