Dread
Dread
When uncertainty suffocates you that even your heart wants to dig his way out your chest,
It's then that all your dreams and your quests come to a rest.
You are drained, exhausted and awaiting... awaiting the worst and your skin is all red,
With the only pal by your side, and his name is Dread.
He tries to comfort you, so he rubs his cold hands against your shoulders in reassurance,
But all you get are the chills and no insurance.
You are broken but alive... alive with the furious breaths,
And by seeing yourself in a hundred different deaths.
When tears worth a thousand words fall out like dread has fallen for you,
Or when they get trapped inside, staining your soul blue...
It's then that Dread tries to sing... to sing you to eternal sleep,
For he knows there lies peace and refuses to accept that you'd be better off without his love so deep.
