Divided We Stand!

Since childhood, it was told to all,

United we stand, divided we fall.

For the first time ever stepping out is banned,

Because together we won't survive but divided we stand!

Amid a lot of chaos entered 2020,

With it came along fears and terrors plenty.

Coronavirus began to spread its vicious claws,

All the countries began to realize how deadly it was...

Nobody could get up and have his way,

Everyone was in danger and no one safe.

Nations came to a standstill, the economy took a hit,

No matter what they did, the death toll didn't reduce a bit...

That's when India took a strict measure,

Amidst a rising death rate, there was a lot of pressure.

All the places were divided into three zones,

This decision was received with a lot of groans.

People were already frustrated with the lockdown,

Every time the date got extended they frowned.

Little did they know it was for their best,

All they had to was stay at home and rest. 

The three zones were yellow, red and green,

The rules were to be followed until we cleared the COVID scene.

The red zone was very highly restricted,

As it contained those who were highly infected.

Rules were lenient in the zone yellow,

Here the effects of the corona where as of now mellow.

Green zone was lucky to have almost everything,

But if precautions aren't followed, it will be reduced to nothing.

These three zones dividing the Earth's surface,

It Will help us fight corona and it's trace.

Let's not get together and spoil it all,

Remember divided we stand but together we fall!
