Coincidence To Coffin
Coincidence To Coffin
It was as dark as the dawn,
And the room flooded with the music of Shawn.
Rewinding back to that unexpected coincidence under the subway,
Still makes my body swirl and sway.
Never did I want to fall for his devilish smile,
But couldn't resist myself when his royal blue irises met mine.
There was a glint in his eyes,
Which made me blink twice and thrice.
I could feel the warmth of his palms lingering through my cheek,
His fingers tucking a lock of hair behind my ear made me almost freak.
At that very moment, I just wanted to ruffle his disheveled dark messy hair,
But all I could do was to glare gawk and stare.
His peck on my forehead made me gullible,
But his point was quite plausible.
His reddish-pink lips whispered that he'd return tomorrow,
But every tomorrow's pierced my hopes and put me under sorrow.
And when I heard the knock against the door,
My lips tugged up but soon were scattered over the floor.
It was his desire to serve his loyalty to the mother nation,
But what did that give other than his body resting under the coffin...
