Bye Bye 2024

With all the ups and all the downs,

The year has passed, it's time to crown.

New faces met, new risks were taken,

Laughter, tears, and hearts forsaken,

Anger, frustration - emotions expressed,

A year of trials, yet I'm still blessed.

Thanks to those who were never pleased,

Whose hunger for more never ceased.

You taught me that sacrifices are unseen,

A lesson in strength, though it was keen.

Thanks to those who spread their spite,

Jealousy that turned day to night.

You showed me what I'm truly worth,

A strength that blooms with every hurt 

Thanks to those who used me high,

A ladder to success, you aimed to fly.

From your climb, I found my voice,

To motivate others, I made my choice.

Thanks to those who made me smile,

Whose kindness lingered all the while.

You kept me strong; you kept me alive,

Through you, I learned how to thrive.

2024, a year of lessons learned,

With every step, new wisdom earned.

It changed me in ways I can't define,

Made me stronger, better, more refined.

So, here's to you, the year that passed,

A journey that taught me to hold fast.
