Brook Manor
Brook Manor
A house stood vacant,
Alone and unaccompanied,
The residents around it, said,
Their souls it affected
The house was haunted,
Everyone knew for sure,
The inhabitants of Salem,
At the first chance they got changed shores
Still some remained,
The poorest of the poor,
And the deeply unfortunate,
Keeping their faith and locking their door
The house was cursed,
Not was the land,
The good people stayed away,
And led their lives as planned
Until the arrival of Fatima,
Peace prevailed,
But soon it was about to change,
The actions of the girl would leave the town derailed
She coaxed her friends to come with her,
The four of them then dared,
Entered they did the sinister house,
Not for their lives they cared
The ambience was eerie,
Not a sound could be heard,
Wend they did, further inside,
Only to find that nothing stirred
The air was stingy,
It smelled of rotten eggs,
The girls relaxed,
And rested their tired legs
Laugh they did at the town,
And their own fears.
The haunting was just a tale,
So that none come near
As dusk arrived,
The girls went home,
That moonless night,
Was when the shadows decided to roam
For unknown to the girls,
They were now possessed,
Their minds were nothing but toys,
And their bodies would act as addressed
At midnight they rose,
And ventured out,
Burning houses and buildings,
Destroying everything in their sight
When once the girls were ebullient,
Now they were only zombies,
The good people of Salem guessed,
It was time to change counties
The next day all went silent,
The town was deserted and all of its houses,
The four girls though could not be found,
They sat in Brook Manor, waiting to be roused
