Earthbound (23 Nov)
Earthbound (23 Nov)
Inhabitants of planet Garga,
Had no option but to run scared,
Evacuate they did on the fastest spaceships,
When their planet imploded
Millennia of culture,
Was wiped out in a blink,
Trillions of people were killed,
To hundreds their numbers did shrink
There was only one planet,
To rid them of their dearth,
The land was young, its people growing,
It was time they concurred to visit planet Earth
They landed on a continent,
Which they knew was called America,
In the shroud of darkness,
The hid their ship and started a botanica
The desert they had settled in,
Soon became exotic,
Earthlings knew not where they’d come from,
Neither did they care, unless they became chaotic
They misunderstood the aliens,
Thinking them of foreign nationals,
The outlanders welcomed the ignorance,
It was far better than being considered criminals
When Trump came to power,
The aliens were left in silence,
These people had everything, dense forest clean air,
But absolutely no common sense
The events the further transpired,
With a wall and a call for a nuclear war,
Left them feeling clueless and afraid,
Earth was poisoned, and dying,
And it would be beyond saving,
If not given an antidote and a thorough abraid
The aliens vowing to save Planet Earth,
Went to work,
In half a decade, Trump was out,
And so were the other twerks
They infiltrated the agencies,
And institutions of significance,
Now they run this planet,
While humans live their lives, still indifferent
