Hoping, she'd prevail.

Selfish I was

Wanting her here to stay

Knowing all her days alive

All she did was pray

Loved angels too

At the moment, it didn't matter to me

My mother's pain

Hated to leave her behind

Thought I saw her moving in the casket

I thank God I got to have her
