And She Was My Juliet
And She Was My Juliet

She was my inspiration
I had been waiting for her from dusk till sunrise
Her touch gave a comforting sensation
It was affectionate. It felt nice.
She had a calm and composed look
It could melt any heart
Her hands were like the pages of an unread book
She had mysterious eyes. Just like art.
When she appeared before me
The world stood still
As if the sky was kissing the sea
With his own will
Her eyes were like the Mariana trench
Any sailor like me could drown
Her smile was the nectar with which my thirst could quench
In spite of being in her eyes which were caramel brown.
I can't forget that unfortunate day
I can't forget that dreadful eve
I said what I had to say
But she just made me leave
I was left with wind and darkness
I wondered why didn't she accept
Till far away, I couldn't find a ray of happine
ss
For days I starved myself and just slept
Finally to get a proper answer
I followed that cold breeze
I reached her place, found a few louts
Talking about her dreadful disease
My breath got heavy
As my footsteps went to her door
I heard the cry of people inside
I could take no more.
I heard the doctor saying, "I tried..
But it wasn't in my hand"
I looked at the ground beneath me
And held the grains of sand.
My heartbeat stopped
My mouth opened wide
I entered her house
And went by her side.
The disease had made her weak
She wasn't strong
So she committed suicide.
As she couldn't hear the silent sad song.
I took the happy dagger from her hand and said,
"Pierce me through.
Persuade my breath to stop.
Sheath yourself inside my heart"
And unlike the last leaf, I dropped.
