A World Without Money
A World Without Money
Imagine if you will,
The source of all evil,
The barrier that differentiates a man from another,
The origin of all of our snivels
Our society hinges on a narrow tip,
Swerving and shifting but never still,
The power of influence is controlled by a few,
Does it not sound quite gory and ill?
We pray to the wealthy,
And praise them too,
For they have the authority,
To change our lives through and true
Dependent we are so,
On pieces of paper,
Every decision we take in our life,
Is to earn more and seemingly become greater
Meanwhile the rich from their mighty seats,
Look upon the strugglers smirkingly,
Covertly they disguise their schemes as such,
To steal our hard earned money shamelessly
They tell us to invest in markets of fortune,
Willing us to risk it all,
And when these fall steeply down,
They tell us this happens, stop thinking small
They employ us and work us,
Till our hair fall off,
They loan us then at an interest so high,
All of our earnings they do snarf
Imagine now if you will,
A world without money,
People working together,
To create peace and harmony
No ill intentions,
Nor greed sways them,
All they want,
Is to avoid mayhem
The concept of money,
Is not wicked in itself,
It’s what it stands for,
Is what is embarrassing, I think to myself
Wealth is not individualistic,
Nor it is to be hoarded,
It’s to be shared and spread,
Like happiness and joy, to ensure mankind is elevated
