We have become hideous, don't just pity us.

In the name of religion, we were oppressed

For ages, we remained suppressed.

Our cheap labor is of some relevance

Our education and health are of no significance.

If not in slums you keep us in jail

We are Viswaguru, our country you hail.

You say Sanathan Dharma is a way of life

Your innumerous Gods can’t remove our strife.

Just having a President is not enough, 

do you realize we lead a life quite rough?

We are not flies for you to just swat away

If we remain in poverty as a nation there is a price to pay.

Just for our votes, you make an eloquent quote

The rest of the time, fire in our belly you just stoke.

In the portals of higher learning our children commit suicide

Discrimination prevails how can we just abide?

Reservation we need just for our preservation.

Education is essential to fulfill our many an aspiration.
