The hair of my paintbrush paints your hair 

Your hair that I can't brush before you sleep.

All I have are words, and it's okay 

In these words I have you, and that's nice 

For you I have no words, and that's a compliment. 

(A complimentary curse would be a more appropriate term for this heavy human-ness)

I absolutely despise this at times,

But then I don't even seek absolution from it.

I will love you with what I have.

I will not miss you unconsciously.

I will think of you 

If there's anything I take pride in,

It's my mind.

I know not how to operate my heart for better efficiency,

so I will love you with all I have and know how to use. 

I will take you to my mind 

and I will love you there 

and I will love you with it.
