A Mother
A Mother
A mother is for love and care
Not to scheme and lay your feelings bare
Mothers are mostly just and caring
And shouldn’t be unjust in loves sharing
The child who looks so trustingly
Does not know that she is candidly
Cheated of love and all that’s pure
As the mother cares for her siblings more.
What does this lonely soul now do
Seek and look for love so few
Build a wall around her aching heart
As stalker’s await to tear it apart.
To all mothers here and there
Never be unjust in your love to share
For there lies a heart so small and pure
Unaware of what lies ahead for sure.
