A Loving Heart
A Loving Heart
All I wanted was love somewhere
A happy home, a happy mind
Soulless I roamed across the street
Looking for that someone, my heart would meet
Met and left, met and left
Till you snatched me before I knew
A weak mind did not know that decisions were made,
Bereft too soon!
Lots of joy I thought I'd make
Love at last for me at stake
Lasted not too long for me,
As the meanness crept in delightfully.
Not to my delight and woes, it came
Crept up and stealthily, slowly in vain
Fought the dragons as it spread its wings
Fought and fought and flayed my limbs.
You cannot keep evil at bay.
For it will catch up some day
Snuffing out that joy with a triumphant smile.
I'm dead, dead in the soul , why wait a while!
( It's come to the shroud- cover me, take me to the crematorium, for that eternal peace)
