A Mother- A Diamond

A diamond canst be thy sapphire,

Ruby, or emerald,

But no gem canst be thy diamond,

For a diamond is irreplaceable.

And such is a mother,

To her cherished child.

Thee walks with thy mother,

In both dark and light,

Thee feels her warmth in the cold,

But not in the heat.
