Reins Of Greed

The horse that's held back

I Will never learn to run

The driver thinks it's for the best

But it ends up for the worst. 

The horse can never run

A wild, free being;

But remains prey of selfishness-

It shall never be free. 

The driver reins the horse drives it

Where he couldn't go on foot

For he wanted the horse

To fulfill his dreams for him. 

Little did he know that he

Held back the horse, with reins of greed-

Using it to accomplish what he can't,

Never let it free.
