A Dream Within A Dream
A Dream Within A Dream
It was a dusky night
Through the sidewalk of blackness
I was hurtling nimble like a lightening
Far away from madness
To let go of that nihility
That eradicates me within
To a clime which was rigorous
With every step for a binge
Where I never think for a fancy to be around
With the span of time
Discern some strides approaching at hand
As if some brute have vile intent
To grapple into their clutches
To drive me to a vicious realm
Where can never make good one's escape
Like infatuations are abridged to an extinct
With every moment rolling ahead
The sound of treads start to deafen
With every ounce of my breathe
Pumping vigorously high
Like if it was getting closer to an epilogue
As if this dreary dream would never ever coda
Whee!! Was I really dreaming for so long??
Like a walter mitty,
Unremittingly without a break.
Like when that dream cease to be
My nightmares took a route to insanity
When I pile out from my linen sheets
Peek a boo for a moment and repeat
What if that aloof monster's growling
Beneath my tootsies
To grab a bite of me
And rend me apart into those teeny-weeny pieces
But to my flabbergast,
All I can catch sight of
A Glimmering door wide-open
To be my chaperone
Throughout the elysian fields and beyond
Afar from the clutches of a sinister
With every step I take further
Foresee for something to ameliorate
That rambles my heart and soul towards lucidity
All I can descry a hoary blaze
Shimmering bright like sunshine
Looking for answers little by little
Anent that nightmare which drove me to an Abyss
But all of a sudden to my surprise
An illimiite voice murmured in my ears
With a chuckle
"Wake up toddler! It's all just a dream!"
As I open my eyes with a stun
With a realisation
That I portrayed a dream within a dream.
