A Crack In The...

A Crack In The...

Not mean with the green, I am; next time

I'm wondering? Would it be out of lime?

That tequila tastes bitterly out of line

With a Bark that's now Biting.

Without your smile so keen to fit in!

So grim and still it had an alluring quality

That is not often seen at all anymore

If the Truth be told without lying

And I don't mean in your bed

I'm talking about all of the lyings

That's been going on without an easy End

This is not a threatening statement

Or something nasty and obscene

That you happened to have read!

See, sometimes knowledge is dangerous

When it's the least that you know

And only listening to what is being said!

To you, and to you alone. So listen up!

Before you forget just where

You're coming from,

And where you're trying to get too

Depending on how you look at it

It's a different point of view!

I don't just suppose, I honestly know

And don't complete truth either

This is what I'm talking about

It's in one ear, and the other, it's out.

You wouldn't believe it, I do not lie
