Once in a village named Bikrampur a poor farmer was living with his family. His name was Chakradhar and he had a wife and two daughters. Anyhow he had educated his two daughters named Punam and Rasmi, the elder and younger respectively. In course of time their financial situation worsened day by day gradually. So Punam got appointment in Indian Airforce and Rasmi as a Bank Officer.

Likewise, ten years already completed and Chakradhar babu's family was well established by virtue of the honest labour of his two daughters. Mother Suhasini was very much pleased with her daughters' successful lives because though she was illiterate her daughters had fulfilled her dream. All of their neighbours and relatives were praising the idealistic small family of Chakradhar Babu. Where there are daughters in any Indian family people must be sensitive on their marriage issue. If girls are over-aged it becomes a matter of criticism. So Chakradhar babu sought for grooms everywhere. Eventually, he got two worthy youngmen and gave his daughters in marriage with pomp and grandeur.

Elder daughter Punam went to her inlaw's house with her husband who was a High Court Judge. Younger daughter Rasmi's husband, Prakash, was an Film producer. As there was no son of Chakradhar Babu, he was bound to domesticate Prakash to take care of his household after his death. So he recorded all the remaining landed property in the name of Rasmi. Rasmi was just like a son for Chakradhar and Suhasini as she was skilled with martial arts like Judo, Karate, Kung Fu etc. besides being a bank officer. She was also a good swimmer and cook.

Rasmi was happy. In this way 3 years passed away. By that time Rasmi had a 2 years old son named Dhoom. Mr. and Mrs. Chakradhar and Suhasini were very glad for having a grandson. But irony of fate in Rasmi's life was that Chakrdhar babu was dissatisfied with Prakash because of his rude behaviour with Rasmi under alcoholic impact. Most of the times he was drinking foreign liquors and for earning money he could have committed any sinful deed. His money mindedness was always worried all. One day due to heavy loss in the business of film producing he required one crore rupees to revive his profession. So he asked his wife Rasmi to arrange for money at any cost. She arranged fifty lac rupees from her bank through personal loan and self-deposit and handed over the amount to Prakash, her husband. But Prakash was not satisfied with that sum and forced Rasmi to give him more fifty lac immediately. In spite of her several convincements, Prakash did not follow instead he began to beat Rasmi vigorously. Prakash was fully drunk and did not listen to her. His in-laws also tried to convince but in vain. Moreover, Prakash demanded money to get by selling the landed properties which were recorded in the name of Rasmi.

Hence Rasmi was very furious when Prakash humiliated Chakradhar Babu, her beloved father Chakradhar Babu,  with vulgar terms and charged Karate on her husband Prakash mercilessly letting him flat on the floor. Instantly he telephoned the advocate to come with requisite papers for divorce. The advocate arrived and got the papers signed by Prakash and Rasmi. Since then Rasmi and Prakash began to stay separately. There was a bolt from the blue in the life of Prakash. He suffered a great loss in his domestic and professional life and got a drastic lesson for humiliating an elder person like his father in law as well as a goddess-like wife in the long run. As a result of which he has nowadays become bankrupt and leading a precarious life as a roadside betel shopkeeper in a nearby town.
