Once upon a time while Brahmaji was starting the process of creation of Animal & Plant Kingdom upon the earth, Lord Bishnu suggested Lord Bramhaji, " O My dear Divine Creator I would like to offer you a suggestion for the Plant Kingdom"

Lord Brmhaji told with folded hands'O" My Lord of the Universe I am ever glad to accept Thy valuable suggestions. Please tell me "

Lord Bishnuji retorted, " Thou have to create an exceptional fruit which can satisfy the whole humankind with its fragrance, taste,flavour & nutrition as a summer fruit so that it must be the one of your masterpiece creations".

"What will be it's name"

Brhamaji asked

" At first, Thou should try to create this fruit. It must be your innovative invention on the Earth "

A reasonable time had elapsed. Brahmaji was successful in his innovative creation. A beautifuly shaped fruit of green colour when it is raw & of yellow, orange & red or of all these three colors mixed together when it is ripe was eventually invented by Lord Brahmaji,the Creator of the Universe. 

Afterwards a miracle took place in the Plant Kingdom. At the glimpse of that innovative Divine delicious fruit,Jackfruit was pierced by a peg within its body,Java plum's colour turned black,exocarp of litchi became tough, leathery & bumpy,Pinaples exocarp turned tough, scaly and spiny,water chestnut developed two thorns on it's head, coconut & bael fruits' excocarp became like wood, bitter gourd became more bitter with scaly and bumpy appearance etc.etc.

All these miraculous and strange incidents took place just after the arrival of that Divine Fruit on the surface of Earth because of intense feeling of shame by all other fruits. Brahmaji was watching these phenomena with great surprise sitting on His throne at Brahmaloka. He sat on meditation & invoked Lord Bishnu to let Himslf be out of that puzzle.

Then Lord Bishnu arrived in no time at Brhmhaloka by riding Garuda, His Divine carrier. Brhmhaji asked, " As per Thine advice I created this beautiful and delicious Divine fruit to be

enjoyed by global humans. But I see now topsy-turvy. All other fruits after watching it became out of shapes and colours. What is the reason and what will be its name? I pray Thee.Please clarify this for me. " Bishnuji clarified this puzzle for Brhamaji and told, " It is Divine Fruit that you have created by virtue of my effulgence. It has put an adverse impact on other fruits by its beauty & qualities. So they felt jealous & extremely shy. That is why they turned disfigured. Hence I am naming this special fruit MANGO ( Amraphalam ) which contains nectarly juice which gives life especially to humans and some other animals & birds. It was originated in the orchard of my Paradise alias Amaravati. Henceforth it will be called Chyuta phalam, Rasallam or Amraphalam. So this Amraphalam must be appreciated & enjoyed by all gods & goddesses too including global humans up to eternity. " Then Lord Brahmaji was completely satisfied and bade Lord Vishnu goodbye.
