NAVRATRI DAY 3: SPIRITUAL LIFE

The spiritual life does not remove us from the world but leads us deeper into it,

Big-heartedness is the essential virtue on the spiritual journey,

Re-examine all you have been told, Dismiss what insults your soul,

Step out of the circle of time and into the process of love.

You can’t have a physical transformation until you have a spiritual transformation,

It took me forty years on earth

To reach this sure conclusion:

There is no Heaven but clarity,

No Hell except confusion,

We are not human beings having a spiritual experiences,

We are spiritual beings having a human experience.

Surrender is the most challenging thing in the world while you are doing it and the easiest when it is done,

If you want others to be happy, practise compassion,

If you want to be happy, practise compassion,

Happiness cannot be travelled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed, Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.

Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life,

Physical strength can never permanently withstand the impact of spiritual force,

One of the most spiritual things you can do is embrace your humanity, Connect with those around you today,

Say, “I love you”, “I’m sorry”, “I appreciate you”, “I’m proud of you”…whatever you’re feeling,

Send random texts,

Write a cute note,

Embrace your truth and share it,

Cause a smile today for someone else and give plenty of hugs.

My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit,

Your sacred space is where you can find yourself over and over again,

You and your purpose in life are the same things,

Your purpose is to be you,

As soon as you look at the world through an ideology you are finished,

No reality fits an ideology,

Life is beyond that,

That is why people are always searching for meaning in life, Meaning is only found when you go beyond meaning,

Life only makes sense when you perceive it as a mystery and it makes no sense to the conceptualizing mind.
