Though open, my eyes had become blind,

Unknown and lost, my good world was behind,

I wanted to sight but wisely it hides,

I tried and tried to find, at last, I saw,

It was in your shining eyes!

Though sensing, my ears had become deaf,

Wondering of my sweetest voice, it was near somewhere,

I wanted to hear but slowly it clears,

Though alive, my fingers had become lifeless,

Though pumping, my heart had stopped beating,

Though empty, I tried to look inside me,

Found nothing left within to see,
