Watching horror serials/movies or stories about supernatural power and character was never my cup of tea. But yes some have that daring and tendency to take interest in such subjects. Maybe they have already convinced themselves that it is not real, they are just imaginary and fictitious stories. Or some people are brave and bold.

But I would say people like me who are soft-hearted don't easily get convinced to watch such supernatural and horror stories. But there was one very famous movie " Woh Kaun Thi " and the songs were good. My sister somehow convinced me and we both went to see the movie in the theater, this is about those days when I was in school.

I was not sure if I will see that movie till the end because as such cinema hall becomes dark, no lights when the movie is on, also either there will be pin-drop silence or if the public is mischievous they will make some horror sounds and it will be even scarier.

I chose a middle seat where one side was my sister and another side some other person whom I didn't know but at least I felt safe in the middle seat. The movie started, it was starring Sadhana, who was one of my favorite heroines of those eras, and Manoj Kumar, a very handsome hero.

When some horror background music is played and some scenes where public used to be silent then I used to get scared and used to hold my sister's hand and then after watching the movie for some time I felt it was an interesting story and yes, I will watch the movie till the end. And I watched the whole movie till the end and felt as though it was a big achievement for me at that young age ...

The story was about Dr. Anand, played by Manoj Kumar. He is going by car on a rainy evening, and he sees one girl, played by Sadhana, standing, so he gives her a lift, but as she gets into the car, wipers stop working, he is not able to see the road properly but that girl give him the direction how to go. When they reach there the gates open automatically.

Dr. Anand was supposed to marry his girlfriend Seema but dr. Lata loves Dr. Anand and so Dr. Lata and her father, dr Singh, who was ahead of dr. in the hospital where dr. Anand and dr Lata were working. This suspense revealed as the story goes further.

There was a very famous unforgettable song " Lag ja Gale " sung by Lata Mangeshkar, which was the high point of the movie and dressing style of Sadhana, the double role of Sandhya, whom Dr. Anand was to marry as suggested by his mother. And the confusion is created due to twin sisters in the film.

Also dr. Anand was a legal heir of the property of his relative and to get that property dr Anand had to be mentally fit, that was the condition.

How the horror is created due to the supernatural spirit of his girlfriend and the background music played was a bit scary part of the story/movie, but good and interesting story, best songs and music, best star caste was all attraction of the movie. And that is how viewers like me were compelled to watch the full movie till the end...

But for me, it was my first and the last movie of that kind I watched in my life till now....great...
