Who Is Your Inspiration?

"Tyra played with the ball at her toe, tackled well and...." 'Ann? Ann? Are you up for school? Hurry up! Your bus will be here any minute now!' Yep! That's me, Ann. A total book addict, Scholar, Football Champ and most of all a pet lover. I have ( or should I say had ) a cat, Clara, and a dog, Tommy. My best buddy, well, it's Brittany and John ( who was actually my Boyfriend ). I was the luckiest girl. Personal phone, laptop, access to social media, pets, school, parents, fashionable clothes, boyfriend... I mean... what else did I lack?

Today is my birthday! I've turned 15. Graduated at an early age though. My main motive was always to become a football player. I joined sports clubs, participated in several football matches but today, a.k.a. on my birthday, I'm playing the world champion's league. I play on behalf of England ,that too, finals. I win today, I become a star. But the time I took to reach here was crucial and I don't know if I can win the finals. Brittany said that football is just an infatuation of my age. Sure, I protested back. We had an argument and ended up getting split. John said that I didn't hang out with him like before and so he broke up with me. Clara got jaundice, her liver got affected and she left our family. Tommy got the fever and his time was almost up too. Mom and Dad got divorced but what kept me going was Tyra Fraser, the protagonist of the story 'Kick off' written by Donna King.

Despite being away from home, she managed to find happiness in her own passion. It was time, to kick off the ball into the goal of our opponent's team. Shirelle passed the ball to me. I ran with it towards the goal. Unfortunately, I ended up beside the goal, unable to figure out how to shoot it in the post. We needed one goal to win and time was almost up. My intention was to pass the ball back to Shirelle but my ball turned by itself and GOAL!!!

Everyone crowded around me, players, friends, media.... even Brittany and John asking for an apology. The press all asked me one question, Who is your Inspiration?
