As It Struck 12 At Night - 2

Since I am free soul right now, it is fair enough that I tell you readers how I figured out that Joey was the killer. He had faked his death. Since he was my childhood friend I couldn't have ditched him anyway.

At the end, I knew that Joey would stab me on my back so I myself decided to put an end to my life. Being the last one to be hanged, I saw everyone's body before me leaving Joey's. Everyone said that he accidentally fell off the cliff but Joey isn't that HYPERACTIVE type. In my observations, he was a really quite man with decent etiquettes. But, there was one thing I knew about him that others did not. He was a murder. I was investigating one of my cases when another case fell upon my shoulders - A 24 - YEAR OLD GIRL FOUND DEAD INSIDE BIG BENTLEY.

No one was ever allowed to go inside Big Bentley apart from Joey's mother, Mrs. Georgina, the holder of the key. I even remember Joey saying that he had to meet a friend right inside Big Bentley. I sent the fingerprints of the murderer and Joey's together in the lab and the results were positive. No doubt it was him. He was imprisoned for 3 years before he came with us for the picnic. We accepted him thinking that he had changed but he still remained the same.

Joey had completed his army training right after college so falling off the cliff wouldn't have been a great deal for him. Later, I understood everything that he had killed us all so that we don't figure out any more of his crimes and don't be a menace for him.
