When Clock Strikes

They went to the same school and in same bus. It all started with a rubber fight, than they realized each other’s mistake. But the ego separated them. But they realized there was a strong bond, within few days She said sorry, and they became the best friends.

Time passed and their bond increased. One Choose, to be a medico and the other a Software engineer. They got separated by career path but united by technology. Their day doesn’t ends without talking to each other. They shared their ups and down and consoled each other. They were same soul existing in two bodies.

Things were going fine, until she fell in love, and realized that there was more than a friendship, between them. Their parents were against them, but they valued the love between them and got married in presence of their friends. Day passed, they felt, that they were missing something. It was the child. They adopted a child through LGBT adoption.

She was a girl child with curly hair, with tender legs. She smiled at them, Immediately they fell in love with her cuteness and adopted her. Though both of them were young parents, but they played their role of parents well. Days passed and the child grew. It was the time to put her in the school.

Out of the list of leading schools in the city, they decided to put her in one of the top schools.

It was her first day in the school, they dropped the child in the classroom, had a chat with the teacher and were off to their work.

It was around 11’o clock. Teachers were busy taking the class.There was a short circuit, a spark spread the fire, and the smoke spread quickly. Some tried to use the fire extinguishers.

But they were not working as it got expired. Chaos was around.Children started to run, teachers couldn’t control them. Some encountered the stamping. To make the things worst the fire spread to the kitchen, and the nearby hotels and cloth shops.

Cylinders burst; some of the kids manage to escape the scene. But the school building collapsed in seconds.

Few of the fire engines came in, as the other fire engines were out as a precaution measure for a minister’s home function, with lot of efforts they were able to extinguish the fire by evening. Most of the children got killed in the accident.

Every year a candle is lit in front of their name. A case was registered, against the school authorities.After few years, the case favored the school authorities, with some monetary fine.

They decided to build a Five star Hotel, as it was on the heart of the city. The building works got started.

In meantime, the parents of the lost children were hosting campaigns against the school authorities, but with time they slowly dispersed into air. The couples, decided not to adopt a child, they started participating in social activities, and spread the campaign on the school safety, lest no other parents and children should suffer.

But the girl, still visits them, with her burnt body. She eats the food which they prepared out of love. People used to call them crazy, they couldn't distinguish it as a dream or reality.

The Hotel was opened by a famous film star. All the Big shots, attended the functions.

It was a grand ceremony the journalist covered the event in detail. So many fire engines were ready as a precaution measure.

Some of the special guests, decided to stay over the night. It was around 11 PM, there was noise of children and screaming of the people. But nothing was captured in the cameras.

The guest raised the complaints, and the Hotel managers addressed them peacefully. Then after an hour noise stopped.

Then after sometime, again the noise started, the special guest, tried to reach the operators. The clock was still showing 11' o clock but still the minute hand of the watch was moving.But they couldn’t, they opened the door and couldn’t believe the scene.

The children’s and teachers were running, they were standing on the foot path of hell, with flesh, blood all around. Few of the children came and dragged the people who were watching.They screamed and yelled but no one able to hear them.

It was around 9 AM, the butler came up to the room, to provide the breakfast. They screamed and ran out of the room at the same time.

Police was called up; there were around twenty special guests and around ten of them died in their room.

There was no clue on how, they got killed and why the fire alarm didn’t work and triggered the water extinguisher. The case still remains, an undisclosed mystery, and the clocks in all those rooms struck 11 o'clock and remained on it with minute hand ticking on, even after repairing them.

The Hotel got closed within few days. But people in the locality said, they can hear the classes and students voices throughout the day. Though nothing were visible to them, apart from the buildings structure.

It’s been said, he comes in disguise of technology.

But no one realized he comes, in disguise of a corporate mind and greedy business person. Innocent souls have sent him back.

But how many times can he comeback? Can’t we push him to hell permanently with our better thoughts?
