Two Rupees

There lived a great rich man in a village, who was very famous also. He had 3 daughters and 1 son. His wife was very much fond of her children, especially her son. Being the only son of the house, he was grabbing all the attention and love from the entire family.

After the marriage of all three daughters, all the responsibility of the father's business came upon his son's shoulder. Though he was grabbing everyone's attention in the house, he was not much responsible. Being born in a rich family he was habituated of getting the thing on hand. He neither understands the value of struggle nor was concerned about earning money on his own. How can a father allow his son to sit idle, after all, he was supposed to be the king of his empire, for this a guy must be deserving, must be like one who understands how each penny is earned.

In order to make him understand, the father offered him a challenge. According to the challenge, he needs to earn 2 rupees per day, it doesn't matter by doing which kind of odd jobs his son has earned that, but on a daily basis he needs to earn 2 rupees. Father kept this challenge and son accepted, as according to the challenge, the moment his son managed to earn 2 rupees on his own, from that day, his father will render his entire empire to his son. Son took this challenge but not on a serious note.

On the first day, he asked his mother to gave him 2 rupees. By the end of the day, he presented that amount in front of his father. His father asked him to throw it in a dustbin, the son did it easily. His father got a notion that the amount was not earned by him. He ordered his wife not to give any sum to his son. The next day, his son managed to get the amount from his friend. By evening he presented that amount to his father. Again, father ordered him to throw it in dustbin and son followed the same. Father again understood that his friend is supporting him. He ordered each and every friend not to give any sum to his son.

Then comes the third day, his son was alone and trying to earn 2 rupees, but he couldn't get it in any way, then suddenly he heard a voice from his back, which briefs that whoever will raise this 50 kg for 2 km in their back, he will be entitled to receive a sum of 2 rupees. Upon hearing the words '2 rupees', he nodded yes and walked to that man. He pulled that heavy bag on his back and walked for 2 km. By evening, he was exhausted and when he presented that earned amount to his father, his father ordered him again to throw this into a dustbin, but this time he refused to do so. His father realized the son's struggle of earning 2 Rupees and from the next day, he made him understand the small processes of their business and within months his entire empire was catered by his son, his father felt very proud of him.
