Two Cups Of Tea : You and Me
Two Cups Of Tea : You and Me
Chapter1:
Our 1st Session…….
It is a hectic Monday afternoon. After taking two back to back sessions on mental health Parineeta is exhausted. So without wasting a minute she rushed for her afternoon tea break. This is the time she spares for herself. So she avoids any chaos and company around her during her favorite time of the day. She collected her special tea from the counter and sat in the corner of the canteen.
She opened her phone scrolled through the gallery for changing her Whatsapp DP. While scrolling the phone her eyes stopped over a photo. She tried not to open the photo but she could not resist herself. And with the photo all the memories got flashbacked within a moment.
The photo was taken by Aditya and he sent it to her. The photo has a letter in it and a teacup. That day Aditya was sitting exactly at this position of the canteen and waiting for Parineeta. But Parineeta was too busy with her patients and could not make it for tea. Aditya was upset about her but did not say a single word. Instead sent the photo to Parineeta.
The letter was written by Parineeta for Aditya a day before. Aditya was overwhelmed after getting the letter and he had read that letter several times but still was reading it in the canteen.
In between her busy schedule, Parineeta messaged her Sorry for not joining him that day. In his reply, Aditya sent the photo to her.
Recollecting the memory Parineeta smiled a bit and continued with her cup of tea.
Aditya was her patient, she was counseling him, while Aditya was mentally unstable to cope with the happenings in his life. It was another normal mental health session for Parineeta. But this session changed Aditya’s life. In her institute, Parineeta conducts mental health sessions every Monday. That day Aditya also joined the session as he was totally frustrated with his personal and professional life. His mother forced him to join the session. So unwillingly he came to attend the session.
Parineeta’s strength is she talks very well. She can motivate anyone with her sweet yet powerful voice. She speaks slowly but you cannot ignore her while she is speaking. As per her, Mental health is the ultimate need of the hour. To have a stable life you need to have a healthy mind. So she offers this session to motivate the attendees to have a better future ahead. This session includes a few activities to refresh your mind and forget your pain for a while. While doing one of the activities she noticed Aditya. He was not following her instructions. So she came to him and asked what happened. Aditya stared at her for a while and looked down. After few seconds he left the session. Before Parineeta could say anything he vanished from the place. Parineeta was not surprised because during her 3 years tenure of the profession she has come across a lot of people like Aditya, who could not concentrate on such initial activities conducted during the session after having issues in their lives. Parineeta believes they need to speak their problems to get rid of them. Well that day it was Aditya who missed his chance to get rid of her pain.
But Parineeta has already entered his life as a cure to all his problems.
Chapter2:
My Pain Killer….
It was an early hour appointment Parineeta had to attend. Then she had a plan to take the rest of the day off for some personal commitments. She reached her institute and instructed the receptionist to send the patient for that day.
There was knock on the door and a voice so rhythmic came in.
“May I come in Doctor?”
Parineeta: Yes, Please.
Parineeta: Hi Aditya. Please be seated. ( As she already knows her name from the patient details in her laptop)
Aditya: Thank you, Doctor.
Parineeta: Do you mind if I say something to you.
Aditya: No Doctor. Tell me.
Parineeta: Don’t call me doctor it irritates me actually. Simply call me Parineeta. ( Showing her name in the named desk nameplate)
Aditya: Sure doctor. I mean Parineeta.
Aditya smiled and Parineeta smiled back to him.
Parineeta: So Aditya tell me what are you exactly feeling right now?
Aditya: Sorry…. I did not get your question.
Parineeta: My question is what are you feeling right now?
Aditya: I think I have come here for your consultation. How does it matter how am I feeling right now?
Parineeta: The question is a part of our process. Please be frank and express your exact feelings with me.
Aditya: Is it?
Parineeta: Aditya you have only 55 more minutes to interact with me. So fast….Otherwise I will leave you here and go.
Aditya: I am habituated to this Parineeta. What’s new in that?
Parineeta: Sorry….not getting you.
Aditya: Everyone leaves me and I stay lonely forever. You were asking about my feelings right?? Then listen, I am broken from inside. All alone. Devastated and exhausted. My condition is just like someone underwater and suffocating. No hope of getting out of this situation. I want to cry, but I can’t. I want to escape but can’t. Life is really not fair to me.
Aditya noticed Parineeta was listening to her carefully and in between making some entry into her laptop. Seeing this Aditya stopped middle way and looked at Parineeta. The calmness in her face is still maintained.
Parineeta: Don’t stop telling me I am listening.
Aditya: This is the problem with me. Nobody wants to listen to me. I can’t share things with anyone.
Parineeta: When nobody listens, then we the psychologists listen. It’s a part of our work.
Parineeta: Heyyyy…. I was kidding. I am listening. Tell me I am all ears.
Aditya: Expressing everything is really difficult. I don’t think I can.
Parineeta: Aditya, tell me. Things will be better. Things will be fine. Believe me.
Aditya: Before I say anything about my life I want to confess something.
Parineeta: Sure. Go for it.
Aditya: You remember you were taking a session 2 days back. I was in that session. I saw you there for the 1st time. I looked at you and heard your voice. I looked down and again stared at you. I don’t know why I felt confident for the 1st time in a while for no reason. My mother forced me to attend the session. Before you, I have consulted with few psychologists but nothing changed for me. My mom almost pleaded to me to attend the session. She could not see me as devastating as this. I was demotivated and never wanted to help out myself. I was like this so she was worried. I never wanted to meet anyone nor any doctor or psychologist. Because I know no one can change myself but me. But in that session after listening to your words I felt the need to get help from you to improve my life. That day when you came near to me I could not say a word and left that place. But I want to change my life that’s why I am here. Please help me.
Parineeta: Ohh!!! That means we met before in my session. Okay, don’t worry Aditya. You will be normal again. Everything will change for you. Mark my words. Now you have only 7 minutes to talk. Hurry up!!. Sorry, actually I have taken off for the rest of the day. So we can resume in our next session where we left today.
Aditya: It’s Okay we can talk later. I am feeling relaxed now. Thanks for your time.
Parineeta: Don’t thank me. I am getting paid for this to help you. It’s my job. I am not helping for free. Hahaha
Aditya: I don’t know. But thank you again. We will meet soon Parineeta.
Parineeta: It’s my duty.
Aditya: I think you are getting late. We will continue later.
Parineeta: Okay Aditya. I have shared some feedback and activities to do for you with the receptionist. Please go through them before you join me next.
Aditya: Bye Parineeta.
Parineeta: Bye Aditya. See you soon.
Aditya left the room and went to the receptionist. Parineeta took her bag and left the room. At the reception counter again they met. The receptionist greeted
Parineeta. Then she instructed the receptionist to help Aditya if he needs any. Then Parineeta said bye to both Aditya and the receptionist. The receptionist said to her, “ Bye Pari Ma’am.” Aditya smiled slightly and also said, “ Bye Pari Ma’am.”
Three of them laughed. The receptionist told Aditya that they call Parineeta “Pari.” She loved to be called by this name. Then Pari left the place.
Chapter3:
Friendship a new beginning………
Pari was waiting for her cab outside the office and in between checking her phone to track the cab. It was her hard luck that her cab driver was stuck in the traffic. So she was a bit worried. Suddenly from the main gate of the institute one car passed by and returned back to Pari. It was Aditya, though Pari was not expecting her but still she smiled at him. Aditya raised his brows and asked Pari, “Shall I drop you somewhere Pari Ma’am?”
Pari was not prepared for the question but she maintained her composure and said, “No thanks! My cab is on the way.” Aditya still wanted to convince her to take a ride with him but he chose to keep quiet and stared at Pari to figure out something. It was an uncomfortable gesture for Pari. So she kept herself busy in the phone. Aditya out of courtesy asked, “Is the cab on time or it got caught in traffic?”
Making a sad face Pari said , “The driver cancelled the trip.” Aditya took advantage of the situation and said, “ Pari Ma’am, in case you change your mind then let me know. I am at your service.” Pari did not say a word and sat in his car. While tightening her seat belt she said, “In a two-line of conversation you are saying 10 times Pari Ma’am. Can you just keep it short and make it as simple as Pari. Am I making sense to you?
Aditya: Yeah of course. I am okay with Pari.
Pari: Good. Thank you.
Aditya: So where shall we go, Pari? And call me Adi. As simple as Pari.
Pari: Okay Adi. Take me to Wellness Spa.
Adi: Okay Pari.
Pari: Okay Adi.
Both of them laughed at their “Pari Adi” conversation.
Adi: So here we go with my google map.
Pari: Wait, What you need a map to navigate to the spa. You need not do so. I know the way. I am just like a living map beside you for this city, Kolkata.
Adi: Ohhhhh!! Pari the Smartyyyy!
Pari: I am getting late. Hurry up!!
Adi: Are you like this always?
Pari: And are you like this always?
Meanwhile, Adi started the ride. He played the FM radio station from his music system. The song playing was Kabhi Kabhi Aditi ……
Adi: (in a serious tone) yes I am like this not always but for now. That’s why I am here to get counseled from you Pari.
Pari: (in a guilty tone) sorry I did not mean that.
Adi: (burst into laughter after seeing Pari’s guilty face) I was joking by the way. I am a bit crazy, yet very sensitive.
Pari did not say a word and just smiled. She always avoids having a lot of talk with people. She chose to stare outside from the window and listen to the song playing. In between instructing Adi to the Spa route. Breaking the silence of Pari, Adi spoke.
Adi: Actually I am new to this city. Only two months since my family shifted here for expanding our family business in Kolkata. So I am not so acquainted with the route.
Pari: That’s Okay. Take the right turn.
Adi: I talk a lot. Please let me know when you get bored.
Pari: It’s Okay. I talk less. But that does not mean I get bored easily.
Both of them exchanged a look and then back to their starting zone.
Adi: Do you like Tea or Coffee?
Pari: Why?
Adi: If any day I feel like to have some tea with my friend then I can invite you
Pari: Wait! When we became friends? And I like coffee more than tea.
Adi: Just today. When shall we go for a tea date?
Pari: Tea Date?
Adi: Coffee Date?
Pari: What?
Adi : When?
Pari: Are you crazy?
Adi: Why so serious, Pari? I was kidding. But I won’t miss the opportunity to have tea with you. Cause I am a tea person. Don’t look at me like that. You can say no for the tea date, But don’t deny my friendship. Please…. Please…
Pari laughed out loud seeing the dramatic Adi.
Pari: Friendship did. But a strict no to Tea date.
Adi : Thanks Pari my new friend. So when is our Tea date fixed?
Pari: You are a hardcore Dramebaaz. Counseling you will be tough I must say.
Both of them shook their hands while saying cheers to their friendship. Then Aditya’s phone beeped. Then he checked his phone and dialed someone’s number.
Adi: (On phone) For God's sake where is that Starbucks? You know I am new to this place still you just giving me a surprise every day. And you expect me to navigate through Kolkata like a pro. Why don’t you understand Sneha? Please don’t scream yaar….Sneha…. Sneha…. Sneha….
Adi seems frustrated. Looking a frustrated Adi , Pari managed to say that they have reached the Spa.
Pari: We reached the Spa. Stop the car. And thank you. By the way, I know the route to Starbucks. It’s nearby only. Don’t be stressed.
Adi: Yeah.
Then Pari explained to him the way to Starbucks.
Adi: Actually that’s my Fiancé Sneha. We will get married soon.
Pari: Ohh great. Congratulations Adi!!
Adi: Thanks.
Pari: Thanks for dropping me to the Spa. See you in the next session. Bye.
Adi : Yeah sure. Bye.
Pari headed towards and Adi towards Starbucks.
Chapter4:
Our 1st Tea date…..
Dealing with someone’s mind is not easy. You have to emotional enough to connect to their situation and practical much to give them a solution to their problems. It’s like experiencing the journey in which you have no role to play, just to analyze the mental condition of your patient. Pari has to deal with a lot of people and a lot of stories every day. She has seen the worst day and best day of her life in the profession. She was always passionate about mind-reading since her childhood. So she chose this profession. Her parents initially could not understand her passion but with time they changed their mindset.
That day Pari was attending back to back sessions. Adi’s session was scheduled in the afternoon. Before going for the afternoon session Pari went to the canteen and ordered her special tea. From the food counter, someone shouted, “Pari”. It was Adi holding a burger in his one hand and waving at Pari on the other hand.
Adi: Order one more tea. I will join you.
Pari: Okay. (To the vendor) One more tea, Please.
Pari sat in one of the table with two cups of tea and soon she was joined by Adi.
Adi: I thought you only drink coffee. But this is a tea counter. So what are you doing here?
Pari: Sometimes I need to have tea before dealing with impatient patients.
Adi: Are you hinting at me Pari?
Pari: No. Why would I do that?
Adi: Fine then. So, is this our 1st tea date?
Pari: No.
Adi: Okay. Cheers to our 1st tea together.
Pari: I am really scared to deal with you as a patient. Seriously, Adi.
Adi: Say cheers na.
Pari: Okay Cheers.
Adi: So you lied to me that day. You love tea I guess.
Pari: Yeah. Actually the way you approached that day it was really uncomfortable and I barely knew you then. I always try to avoid any conflict that may arise between my personal and professional life in the future. So….
Adi: So what made you have a drink with me today? Now you know me completely or what?
Pari: No, not that. But I am trying to know you not for my personal interest but for my professional commitments.
Adi: Ohh…I thought I am interesting. Hahaha…..
Pari: You talk nonsense all day long, how?
Adi: You talk sense all day, how?
Pari: Because I have to deal with certain people who might get affected by my nonsense talk. I can’t be so careless.
Adi: Why so serious Pari, every time? Please have a bite of my burger.
Pari: No Adi. Thanks anyway.
Adi: I insist, Pari. Please have a little bite.
Pari: No.
Then without wasting time Adi stretched his arm with the burger towards Pari. Which was in such a position that, Pari could not deny anymore. This act was surprising, yet Pari liked that. It may be because she has never been forced to eat anything by anyone except her parents. The cheese from the burger made its way to Pari’s lip in this process. Adi took a tissue and wiped out the cheese from her lips. This act was of care, but beyond Pari’s understanding. But she liked it anyway.
Pari: Shall we go to my chamber for your session, now?
Adi: Can’t we continue here? I like the atmosphere here. You look less strict here….Ha Ha Ha….I am comfortable with this Pari not that strict looked Pari.
Pari: Let’s go, Adi. We can’t waste your appointment time like this. We have a lot to discuss and therapies to do. Please cooperate.
Adi unwillingly agreed to Pari’s command and both of them went to Pari’s chamber.
Pari: So Adi, Tell me what happened to you which made your mom force you to see a psychologist?
Adi: Is it a part of your treatment?
Pari: No. It’s a part of our detection of the problem with you.
Adi: Are you sure you want to discuss my life with you?
Pari: Without knowing the story how could I help you? Please be free and honest with me Adi.
Adi: Can’t we straight away jump to my treatment?
Pari: How would I help you without knowing the background, Adi?
Adi: Just talk to me. I feel really good talking to you Pari. Don’t know why.
Pari: Adi you have 1 hour 45 minutes left to tell what happened to you. Shall we start with that?
Adi: I want to talk to someone for a while, without dominating me, without showing any tantrum with a bit of love and care. Just for a while, once and forever. Please Pari will you do the favor to me?
Pari: Adi I am there to listen. Tell me. Sorry If I was rude.
Adi: No Pari. You are the only one after my Mom, who at least listens to me.
Pari: I will always listen to you, Adi. It’s my Promise.
Adi: You know I am a very short-tempered guy. I just want someone to hold my hand while I lose my temper and console me. Nobody ever did this to me. I always search for someone in my life that makes me her priority.
Pari: Are you expecting all this from Sneha? And is she the reason for your problem? Are you happy about the wedding that is going to happen soon?
Adi: That is my problem Pari. I don’t know whether I am happy or not. It’s not that she is the reason for my problem. It was my wish to marry her. But things have changed for me. She has no problem at all. The defect is with me. I am unstable and I am stupid. She is beautiful, ambitious and independent. She was the choice of my parents and I also liked her a lot. But I am not feeling the same way that I used to have for her a few months back.
Pari: Do you love any other girl? Please be frank with me Adi.
Adi: Pari I want to tell you my story.
Pari: Yes Please Adi.
Chapter 5:
The Endless talk…….
Adi: My family lives in Ahmadabad. My small family includes my parents, my elder brother and my sister-in-law. My dad established his empire with our family business. My grandpa started it with a small saree shop and my dad put his sweat and blood to this business. Now it’s a four-story building with the best sarees available in Ahmadabad market. Dad set an example for us to achieve something bigger in life. He has done his part and I always wanted to be like him. My elder brother joined the family business and almost takes care of 90% of the business now. My Dad wanted me to join him. But I had different plans in life.
I was never interested in all these things. I was always passionate about cooking. I love to cook different cuisines and serve them to others. I always had a plan to start my own restaurant and make it a brand. So during my graduation, I planned to make it big. My Mom was neutral about my decision but Dad was against it. It was my brother who supported me in pursuing my dream. After my college over, I made an announcement to start my own restaurant. My Dad opposed me and forced me to join our business as he knew the risk involved in setting a new business for a youngster like me having no experience at all. A big conflict arose in my family due to this. But my brother somehow managed to convince my Dad to give me an opportunity to continue with what I planned. He also financed my business and supported me in every possible way. But my Dad supported me with only a few conditions. If within 2 years I failed then I would have to join the family business and marry Sneha. 1st option was disheartening but the 2nd option was lucrative. Without a second thought, I said yes to him.
Sneha’s family lives in Kolkata but their origin was in Gujarat. They have migrated to Kolkata long back but had their roots in Ahmadabad. We are neighbors. Her half family lives here. They used to visit Gujarat during the Navaratri festival. When I met Sneha for the 1st time through our family for the marriage proposal, I could not say no to her. She was charming, attractive and perfect at every angle. I could not say no to her. We started talking, we developed feelings for each other and our marriage was fixed.
1 year passed like this. My business was improving a bit but the fear was in my mind if I lose any day what would happen to my dream and career. My fear attracted more negative feelings and eventually, my business fell down. My dream shattered. The loss percentage was more than profit. My not so experienced hands could not save my restaurant from being shut forever. So as per my Dad’s wish, I had to get back to my family business. I was depressed, lost and disheartened for the accident that had just happened with me. I had sleepless nights. I could not talk to anyone properly. In the meantime, I need someone to help me, console me and hug me. I expected all these from Sneha. But I felt she is least bothered about me. She was enjoying with her friends. She became irritated when I talk to her regarding my problems. We were already far away from each other so distance grew more and more. Her negligence during my crisis made it worse. My expectations were not meeting with the reality. I was having a fight with my family members especially with my Dad almost every day.
She ignored many of my phone calls just to avoid sharing my problems. Her ignorance created misunderstanding between us. She suggested me to come to Kolkata and join her family business. In this way, the long-distance will over and the place change will help me to recover from the depression. Her suggestion was quite convincing for my family. So with due respect to my Dad’s decision, I came to Kolkata with my mother to start a new life here. But things were not changing for me. I have to do the job that I don’t like. Sneha ……(He stopped in between)
I should not say anything wrong about her. Am I sharing more personal details with you Pari?
Pari: hmm…no no Adi. Please carry on.
Adi: My problem is I am not feeling the same way I used to feel for Sneha. Which is hurting her and our relationship? This anxiety making me weaker day by day. Am I doing wrong to her? I want to make everything perfect with her. Will you help me with this Pari?
Pari: Ofcourse Adi.
Adi: I love her a lot. She loves me a lot. But I never feel comfortable sharing my whole story with her. But surprisingly I can share everything with you Pari. I think you are the only one I have talked so long in a while.
Adi: I know I have given a long answer to your short question. I am sorry. Are you bored with my story?
Pari: No not at all. It’s my daily job, Adi. I am habituated to all these things.
Adi: Shall I tell you something?
Pari: sure.
Adi: You are special Pari. I may be like many other people in your life but you are the only one in my life who knows everything about me. I felt light after
talking to you.
Pari: I don’t mind listening to you.
Chapter 6:
A beautiful morning…..
Sharing your agony with someone whom you trust gives you relief. Adi has done his part. He was wondering if Pari feels the same way as Adi feels for Pari. something has changed in his life after he talked to Pari.
Some random thoughts about Pari were crossing his mind and his hands reached out to his phone. He opened Facebook app and searched Pari. His eyes stopped near Pari’s profile and suddenly he clicked on Pari’s profile. A beautiful Pari wearing a red dress smiling like a diva, it was worth watching her profile picture for a minute. Without wasting a minute Adi clicked on add friend option. Pari was looking different in her social media profile; the serious face with which he was acquainted with had vanished. She was literally looking like an Angel (Pari) justifying her name. Adi was waiting anxiously for Pari’s acceptance of his friend request but was not getting any notification.
“The psychologist doesn’t have any social media addiction or what? Pari is not accepting my friend's request. It’s been an hour and more.” Adi was saying this in his thought.
He has Pari’s number which he got from the institute’s prescription. “Shall I ping her in the number?” Adi thought.
“Is it too late?”
“Will she feel comfortable with me talking via whatsapp?”
“Is it okay on my part to talk to her?”
“What Sneha will think about me?”
All these thoughts came to his mind but vanished with his “Hi Pari” message to Pari. He waited for her reply.
After 15 minutes Pari replied, “Hi Adi”. Adi replied to this instantly.
Adi: You look totally different in your Facebook profile. You look gorgeous.
Pari: What?
Adi: You look someone different than your usual serious look in the institute.
Pari: So?
Adi: I think, I am disturbing you.
Pari: No, not that. I thought you messaged me to discuss something related to our session today. I was not expecting this Adi.
Adi: Sorry. I thought we could discuss like friends over chat without being professional.
Pari: It’s okay Adi.
Pari sensed that her behavior was may be a bit rude to Adi. So she decided to behave friendly with him.
Pari: So what are you doing now?
Adi: Nothing. I am just looking at your profile picture in FB.
Pari: I accepted your friend request. In your cover picture, I saw Sneha. You both are looking adorable together. It must be your engagement photo.
Adi: Yes. Dinner over?
Pari: Yes. Yours?
Adi: Done. Shall I call you?
Pari: now?
Adi: hmm.
Pari: actually it’s too late. I live with my parents. They may feel bad. Anything urgent?
Adi: No, nothing. I just felt like to listen to your voice.
Pari: Why?
Adi: Just like that.
Pari: Go and talk to Sneha. She must be waiting for your call.
Adi: No. Actually she has gone to Goa for her friend’s bachelorette. She gets irritated if I disturb her.
Pari: Oh I see.
Then Pari chose not to discuss Sneha considering Adi may feel bad unless and until he comes up with any topic to be discussed on his own.
The chat could have ended there only. But Adi continued it till both of them were extremely sleepy. In the mid of the conversation Pari slept. Adi was waiting for Pari’s message for a while and realized she might have slept. He typed a goodnight message to Pari.
Adi: I want to sit by your side and watch you sleeping so calmly like a baby. I want to whisper something in your ear but I fear you might get up. So I won’t disturb you. Goodnight my Pari.
The next day morning Pari woke up from her sleep and took her phone in hand. She found the message from Adi. After reading the message she felt as if her heart skipped beating for a while. She felt good and uneasy at the same time. Is it because she is aware of Sneha and Adi? Would she have behaved differently if it would have been someone else?
She typed back to Adi, “Good Morning Adi.”
Instance message came from Adi.
Adi: After a long time I got a full good night’s sleep. Maybe because of our chatting session. And the morning is already beautiful for the good morning wish I got from my Pari.
Pari : My Pari? Why So?
Adi: Because you are my Pari. My Angel. Who spelled magic on me to get over my sleepless night.
Pari: haha…
Adi: At least you laughed. I thought I will have to deal with the serious Pari again. And don’t ask so many questions. You just go with the flow.
Pari: Okay. I need to get ready for my office. See you in the office, Adi. Bye.
Adi: Bye my Pari. Take care.
Both of them were enjoying the way the conversation happened. Adi was feeling a bit better and motivated in life. Pari was feeling loved and pampered at the repetition of “My Pari”.
Chapter 7:
Missing each other…..
Present Day…..
Pari reached the institution and opened her system. One of the mail was from the Director of the institute stating that she has to attend a seminar at Surat. Reading the mail her eyes got stuck to the computer screen with some flashback memories.
The bond between Adi and Pari was getting stronger day by day. Now it was not confined only to the sessions at the institute but they started chatting regularly over WhatsApp. A fair bond of friendship has already been established between them. After every session they used to have their tea at the Cafeteria. With time they gelled up easily with each other. Adi used to share every single detail about him to Pari. Pari never ignored him but gave him the utmost attention.
Pari always wanted Adi to get married to Sneha and live happily, but at the same time, she knew that something was not right between them. She always wanted to figure it out but every time she does so Adi used to avoid the topic.
One day at midnight, while Pari was sleeping Adi sent her a message.
Adi: Pari I think for the next couple of days I won’t be able to attend the sessions; I am leaving for Ahmadabad now.
In the morning when Pari woke up from her sleep, she read the message and immediately dialed Adi’s number.
Pari: Hi Adi. Is everything alright?
Adi: Now everything is under control Pari. By the way Good Morning my Pari.
Pari: Good Morning. What happened Adi?
Adi: Nothing serious.
Pari: Tell me, Adi.
Adi: Actually, My sister-in-law was pregnant. She delivered the baby before time, yesterday. The baby is premature and under observation in NICU. When my
Mom got the news, she could not control herself and we had to fly in the midnight itself.
Pari: How is the baby now? How is your Bhabi?
Adi: Everything is fine right now.
Pari: Take care of your family, Adi and support them. Anyways Congratulations for becoming uncle now.
Adi: Thank you Pari. It’s a baby girl and she is so cute. I want to hold her but I can’t now.
Pari: I can guess from here that she might be looking like you and as cute as you.
Adi: Sorry, hold on. Did I just hear it properly? Did you call me cute?
Pari: umm…hmmm
Adi: So you find me cute not handsome?
Pari: Not that…ummm..I think you are the perfect blend of cuteness and handsomeness…..haha
Adi: The great Parineeta praised me for the 1st time. This is a very rare scenario. I want to enjoy this moment for a while.
Pari: Shut up Adi. Did you inform this to Sneha?
Adi: I could not inform her last night that I am leaving Kolkata. I called her today morning to inform you that Bhabi delivered a baby girl. She was in half sleep and was least bothered about it and she hung up the call as her sleep is getting disturbed.
Pari: She will call you back once she wakes up.
Adi: Hmm.
Pari: Adi, Don’t be sad now. She will call you back.
Adi: Did I say that she won’t? Why are you trying to convince me something, that you yourself are not convinced?
Pari: When will you return?
Adi: The moment you start missing me.
Pari: If I don’t then?
Adi: I won’t return.
Pari: Adi tells me na.
Adi: Are you sure you won’t miss me? But I will miss you every moment.
Pari: I don’t know Adi.
Adi: Fine.
Both did not talk for a while. Then Pari initiated.
Pari: I think I am getting late for office. I will message you, Adi. Take care dear.
Adi: Bye My Pari.
Pari: Bye Adi. Take care
That day was a hectic day for Pari. But in all her patients she tried to find Adi. She was missing Adi terribly. She could not understand how Adi become an important part of her life. Is it?
In the afternoon session, she had 2 hours of the extended session, so she put her phone in silent mode and attended the session. By that time Adi was also missing her. He messaged her.
Adi: Missing you a lot, but trying not to.
After the session ended Pari checked her phone and smiled seeing a message from Adi in the inbox. Without wasting a moment she opened the message and with a big heart, she wrote back.
Pari: I think it’s the time you should come back.
Adi immediately replied as if he was waiting for Pari’s reply.
Adi: You missed me today?
Pari: hmm
Adi: I thought you did not. You know Pari while having my evening tea the only face that flashed in my mind was yours.
Pari: I could not get time to have my tea today. And for a matter of fact, I missed you a lot.
Adi: Hmm I can feel that My Pari. I will be back soon.
Pari: When?
Adi: (to lighten the situation) somebody told me that she won’t miss me, now she is missing me. You know when you said so you broke my heart for the zillionth time. Very bad habit, Pari.
Pari: Ha Ha…..Dramatic Adi.
Adi: I will get heart attack soon I guess.
Pari: When did I break your heart?
Adi: Whenever you say no to my request, every time.
Pari: Sorry……
Adi : We are friends right?….We miss each other when not around right?…..
Adi: So why can’t we watch movie together? Why can’t we have a lunch date? Why can’t we have a long ride? Do you avoid such pleasure with your friends?
Pari: Adi you know why?
Adi: Why? Sneha?
Pari: Yes, Sneha. I am afraid, if we get close more your love for Sneha will diminish. I don’t want that.
Adi: Ha Ha……you stupid. I assure you nothing will happen like that. See, she has not called me since morning, not a message either.
Pari: hmm. Have you tried your level best to improve your relationship with her? I believe, no.
Adi: Pari, you know very little about us. It’s different. I don’t want to discuss it now. I just want to live the moment with you for a while. Will you allow me?
Pari: Adi, try to understand yaar.
Adi: Do you like Chaas?
Pari: What is Chaas, now?
Adi: You don’t know Chaas. Come to Gujarat, You will get to know. It’s actually buttermilk and we have it after every meal. This stimulates the digestion process.
Pari: Oh. Achha….You people never tasted nonveg?
Adi: No. And you people live with fish….
Pari: Yes…haha
Starting from a serious discussion both of them ended pulling each other’s leg….. Now both of them chatted along and its 2 o’clock in the night. As usual, Pari slept in the middle of the conversation. And a concerned Adi typed a goodnight message and slept.
Adi: Good night my Pari. Kiss on your forehead for a good night’s sleep. Don’t take it otherwise. Bye.
Chapter 8:
Uncomfortably comfortable…….
It’s getting difficult for both Pari and Adi to live without each other until Pari got a phone call from the director of her institution. He asked her to attend a meeting that is to be held at Surat.
This conference was supposed to be attended by her immediate senior but due to some family issues, he was not able to attend it. That’s why Pari had to attend in his place at the very last moment. Pari was equally nervous and excited. Nervous because the event was big and she had to deliver a speech that should be as effective as her senior. Excited because somewhere in her mind the hope of meeting Adi was there. Though she was clearly uncertain about the distance between Surat and Ahmadabad. She checked her ticket details and the accommodation details.
One more colleague of hers was also traveling with her to Surat. But after the meeting is over in Surat, She will leave for Mumbai to meet her friend.
Pari was bit disturbed and meanwhile, she got one message from Adi.
Adi: It seems My Pari is too busy in her work. She even did not get a single minute to message me…..very busy(with a sad smiley)
Pari: Heyyyyyyy Adiiiii….. I was about to message you. You know I am coming to Gujarat day after tomorrow.
Adi: Wow…Pariiiii……..You missed me so much that you are traveling from east to west just to see me.
Pari: Hmmmmmmmm…yesss.
Adi: Liar. Tell me why you are coming?
Pari: Just to see you stupid.
Adi: I can’t believe this.
Pari: Okay I am calling you. Wait.
Pari discussed her travel plan with Adi. Adi insisted her to make some plan with him. Pari was very unsure about it initially but said yes to Adi.
Their plan was on the day of returning from Surat, Pari will stay back in Ahmadabad just to spend some time with Adi.
The conference went well not a disaster as Pari expected. Now Pari took her phone in one hand while having her tea and called Adi.
Pari: heyyy Adiiii
Adi: Your Heyyy Adiiiii is a relief to my ears. It's like a sweet music you know Pari. God is so unfair to the rest of the world. He gave you everything a good voice, a cute face and most importantly a caring heart. You are smart, you are intelligent. How Pari……. How?
Pari: I can only digest this much praise today, Adi. You are crazy yaar…..
Adi: Crazy for you.
Pari: for me?
Adi: Yes for you. Leave it. How was your conference?
Pari: I believe your good luck wish worked for me, Adi. It was really good. I was not at all nervous. Thanks for everything.
Adi: You are most welcome madam. Please give me your bus details. It will take around 6 to 7 hours from Surat to Ahmadabad. You will reach here at 4.30
am. I will be there to pick you up.
Pari: No Adi. Don’t come. I will book a cab to my hotel. Its too early for you for a winter morning.
Adi: I will come at 4.30.
Pari: Why are you like that Adi? You are very stubborn.
Adi: You don’t understand my concern Pari. What’s your problem if I come to the bus stand? You don’t want me to come? Am I still a stranger patient to you? These things hurt actually.
Pari: You are over reacting now Adi as usual.
Adi: Do you know what’s your problem, Pari? You think you can handle everything on your own and that’s not true. You don’t know this place that’s why I
want to accompany you. But you will judge me for this as you know I am not emotionally healthy.
Pari: Adi, Are not you stretching a simple topic for a war?
Adi: Okay.
Pari: What Okay?
Adi: Nothing. I won’t come. Be safe while traveling and if you get time tomorrow do meet me before leaving. Bye.
Pari: Why are you saying like that?
Adi: Bye Pari.
Pari: Bye.
Pari cut the call. Both of them are now upset. Both were confused whose fault was this? Pari left the conference arena and went to her hotel room to collect her luggage. She was all set to travel to Ahmadabad from Surat. She was feeling the pain inside but her ego did not let her call Adi 1st. She went to the bus stop and waited there. Meanwhile, she got a message from Adi.
Adi: I am sorry I lost it. I can’t live without talking to you. Where are you now Pari?
Pari: You lost? Was it a game that we are playing?
Adi: Sorry Pari for my rude behavior. Soorryyyyyy sorrryyyyyy…….Please yaar sorryyy…
Pari: It’s okay. I was just telling you for your own good. You need not come to pick me up so early in the morning. That too in a chilly winter morning. But you got angry and said bye. It hurt me a lot.
Adi: I am sorry my dear. How could I behave like that to you? Slap me once you are in Ahmadabad. I will show you my face for the slap. I promise my Pari.
Pari: Its okay Adi. My bus will start in a while. We will meet tomorrow after so many days. I am happy about that.
Adi: So many days??? Only 7 days Pari. Ha ha….Does that mean you missed me a lot?
Pari: Hmm…. a lot actually. But your message made me laugh again. I will definitely slap you tomorrow.
Adi: Am I a joker? (with a disgusting smiley)
Pari: No no you are not a joker. You are my Adi.
Adi: Your Adi??? Asian haan….
Pari: Hmm my Adi. I am too tired now. Let me take a nap for a while. I will be soon in Ahmadabad.
Adi: Who is sitting by your side?
Pari: A middle aged man.
Adi: Sit properly and be alert and safe Pari. If you need me then don’t hesitate to call me dear.
Pari: Okay, Adi. I will take care of myself.
Adi: Give me the bus details i will track you if required.
Pari: Okay baba. Now bye.
Adi: Happy journey.
Pari put her phone in silent mode and slept. It's around 3.45 am in the morning, Adi woke up from his sleep and checked her phone. No message from Pari. He thought to give her a wake up call otherwise she will miss her stop. Adi was trying and trying repeatedly her number. But as Pari’s phone was in silent mode and she was sleeping, she could not receive the calls. Adi was now stressed.
With the conductor’s call pari suddenly woke up from her sleep. She was clueless and to her surprise half of the bus was empty. She looked around and found it dark outside. She has no idea whether she should get out of the bus or not. She checked her phone 10 missed calls were from Adi. at the same time the bus conductor cried, “ Ahmadabad”.
Pari collected her bag and got out of the bus. But within heart, she was really afraid to get down from the bus. After she got down from the bus, it was foggy all around, and barely visible. She could only hear few dogs barking at a distance. It's really very very dark and cold outside. She could not understand anything. Her mind went blank for a while. She was extremely worried now. She closed her eyes in fear and opened suddenly.
A guy was standing in front of her folding his hands around his chest smiling at her. His head was covered with a cap and he wore a sweat shirt. Pari was still in her half sleep to realize It’s Adi. She looked at him and screamed Adiiiiii.......
She ran towards him and hugged him tightly. As if all her tension went away with the magic spell of Adi’s presence.
Adi put her arms around her. Now Pari could feel the heartbeats of Adi which was faster than her. Now Pari looked up towards Adi like a child. Adi looked down and planted a kiss on her forehead. Pari tried to hold on to this moment for a while.
Adi: You look damn cute in your half sleepy avatar Pari.
Pari: Is it?
Adi: Yessssss……feeling very cold…..Can I hug you again?( He winked.)
Pari: No. Let's get into the car stupid. You won’t feel the cold again.
Adi: Smart Pari.
Both of them get into the car.
Adi: Wanna have early morning tea with me?
Pari: Yes, of course. Let’s go.
Chapter 9
The disturbing silence…….
The early peaceful winter morning was more romantic with the presence of the two blooming love buds. Their love was still in the bud state and looking for the sun rays to blossom out.
Pari did not ask Adi where they were heading. After driving for 5 minutes Adi put his hand carefully on Pari’s hand to which Pari gave a smile back. Adi stopped the car near a tea stall on the highway. Adi got out of his seat took a turn and stood near Pari’s seat resting his hands on the window of the car.
Adi: Ma’am you wanna get out of the car or I will bring your cup here?
Pari: Please do me the favor.
Adi brought two cups of tea for both of them and entered into the car.
Adi: See, you have denied me a tea date and we are having tea literally on the highway at this odd hour. Strange, no?
Pari: Very strange my Adi. So now please focus on the tea.
Adi: Looking at you is so relaxing yaar. You know I am getting better day by day not due to your therapies and sessions but just being with you, thinking of you and talking to you.
Pari: Are you sure the tea is not contaminated with alcohol? You are talking like a drunkard.
Adi: Okay stupid Pari.
Pari: I think we are forgetting something.
Adi: What?
Pari slapped Adi’s face slowly and pulled out his cheek.
Pari: Now all good. It was in our agenda to slap you once I am in Ahmadabad.
Adi: Ouuuuuu…..Now it's my turn.
Pari: Will you slap me?…….Noooooo
Adi: No I will kiss you…..Ha ha….Ready?
Pari: Nooooo…..I am out of this game…..Forgive me, dear sir.
Adi put his arms around her and Pari put his head on his shoulder for some time. Then Adi dropped Pari in her hotel.
Adi: Go and sleep for an hour and so. Then get ready, I will be at your service the whole day.
Pari: Wow…..i am so excited to be with you the whole day. Now you too go and take rest for a while. Bye Adi. See you soon.
As promised by Adi, He was at her service. Adi took her to a gujarati Restaurant for breakfast after that they headed towards Sabarmati Ashram.
Pari: This place is so peaceful. Great place yaar. Thanks, Adi for the trip.
Adi: Come here pari. I will click some Pictures of yours with Bapu.
Pari: Are you sure? I don’t love being photographed actually.
Adi: Just stand still and smile.
Pari was amazed by Adi’s dedication towards clicking her photos. She herself got tired of posing but Adi did not seem so.
Adi: Do you mind a brief walk near the Sabarmati river front with me. The view is just breathtaking.
Pari: Is it? Then let's go.
Both of them took a brief walk near the riverfront and sat on the bench made for the visitors and got sunbathed for a while. As it was winter the sun was really comfortable and much needed. The slow gentle wind from the river side was passing through Pari’s hair as if leaving them in commotion. Adi did not miss the chance and clicked one more photo which was candid yet beautiful. Then he adjusted Pari’s front hair which were making her cute face partially visible. This caring act of Adi melted Pari’s heart unknowingly. The effortless affection of Adi and the acceptance of the care by Pari were making their bond stronger.
Adi: This is my favorite place in Ahmadabad. At night this place becomes heaven. The cool breeze here is just awesome. At my old age I want someone to hold my hand clutching my fingers tightly and enjoy the summer evenings here. Will you be my partner Pari then? I would love to spend some time with you at this very particular place.
Pari was about to say something, but she stopped when Adi’s phone buzzed. The call was from Sneha. Adi disturbingly looked at Pari. Pari was blank.
Pari: Take the call, Adi. I won’t mind.
Adi: Sorry.
Adi took the call and returned back to Pari. As if something has changed between them within these 2minutes. Pari silently got up from the bench.
Pari: Let’s go, Adi.
Adi: You felt bad?
Pari: No Adi. Why would I?
Adi: let's return to the ashram. You will feel better.
Pari: hmm.
Pari opened her shoes entered the ashram and roamed around with Adi. Meanwhile, her left foot got pierced by a thorn slightly which was there in the ashram premises. It bled a bit. Before she could react to this situation, Adi took her up in his arms and ran towards his car.
Pari: Leave me, Adi. I am fine. People are staring at us.
Adi: I don’t care.
Pari: You can’t be like this all the time Adi.
Adi finally reached his car and took out his first aid kit. He washed her foot in dettol and put a band aid on it. And finally, he spoke.
Adi: And you also can’t do that to yourself all the time.
Pari: What?
Adi: Controlling your feelings your emotions. Let it be out Pari. We have only today. If I am not controlling my feelings for you then why are you Pari? I really don’t understand.
Pari: We cannot ignore the fact that you are engaged to Sneha. Soon going to marry her.
Adi: I told you na Pari. Let it be. Let’s assume Sneha never existed.
Pari: I can’t.
Adi: Well Okay. Your wish.
Adi went back to the ashram and took Pari’s shoes and came back. By this time God only knows how much Pari was falling for Adi. Adi was taking care of very minute things related to Pari. Pari was getting impressed by his acts.
She was indeed in a dilemma whether to accept the Love of Adi. Is it right in her part to love him? The thought of Sneha disturbed her every time she thought of Adi. It’s like mixed feelings happiness and sadness.
Chapter 10
We got each other….
Both of them kept quiet for a while. Adi was checking Pari’s activity from his mirror but did not utter a word. Pari was constantly looking outside from the window. An unbreakable silence had covered their fate.
Breaking the silence, Adi spoke 1st.
Pari: Can I request for something?
Adi: Can you be just with me at this moment. Just assume Sneha is not a part of my life for a while. Accept me as Adi only not as Sneha’s Fiance. I request Pari, Please.
Pari: Adi, please. Don’t do that to me. Focus on the road while driving.
Adi: I am sorry. I don’t know where is my fault?
Pari: Not your fault Adi. The fault is mine. I should be keeping myself away from you.
Adi: I feel extremely happy when you are around. Your mere presence is my only requirement at this moment. I care for you a lot and I need you.
Pari: I know you care for me a lot. But the truth is I can’t be with you all the time Adi. That’s why I don’t want to be your habit.
Adi: Don’t be in the misconception that you are my habit. You are a part of my life and you will be always Pari. And the truth is I can’t live without you.
Pari remained quiet. She wanted to speak her mind out but she chose silence over any confession.
Adi: Pari speak to me, baba. Your silence kills me.
Pari: I am hungry. Let’s eat something.
Adi stopped near a Guajarati restaurant and helped Pari get out of the car. She put one of her hand on Adi’s shoulder and Adi held her from her back. Adi never missed a chance to make Pari comfortable while she had injured her leg. Though the injury was very minor but for Adi, his priority was Pari at that moment.
Adi ordered 2 Special Gujarati thali and kept quiet.
Pari: Do your Special Gujarati thali serves Fish?
Adi: No….You know we don’t eat Fish. Do you want to eat fish? We can go somewhere else. But I wanted you to taste the meal here. It’s really awesome.
Pari: Adi I am sorry. Let’s spend the rest of the day without thinking of anyone else. Just you and me.
Adi: Pari are you a bit slow?
Pari: Not really. But never try to be smart in front of me. Otherwise I will kill you with this fork.
Adi: Ha ha…..That’s my Pari.
Pari: Shall I ask you a question? Why do you care for me that much? Am I that special to you?
Adi: I don’t know you are special or not but you are that important person in my life for whom I can drive 30 km in the foggy winter morning just to assure that she is fine. For whom I sleeked out of my own home like a thief. I roamed holding you in the Ahmadabad market place where every single person knows me. There is higher chance someone close to my family will catch me. After getting discouraged by you, still, I am with you. So you decide your position in my life.
Pari: You are very stupid you know….
Adi: Stupid for you not for the world. Now have your food.
Pari: So many things on the plate…I can’t eat this much Adi.
Adi: You have to Pari. You are my guest. So there is no escape for you.
Adi took one spoon of shrikhand from the plate and fed this to Pari.
Pari: The food over here is really delicious. I never imagined veg thali could be this much fun. I loved it dear.
Adi: Do you think you would ever fall in love with me?
Pari: If you pamper me like this I will definitely fall for you one day. Just kidding…
Adi smiled at her reply. At the end of their food, they were served buttermilk. Pari loved it totally.
Pari: I think someone should write a story about us.
Adi: When it is written then it is ended. I don’t want our story to be ended any day. Looking forward to addition of new chapters to our story every day.
Pari: Your wish is my command, sir. Now let’s go otherwise I will get late for my Flight. I need to freshen up and collect my bag from the hotel.
Adi: Okay let’s go.
From the back seat of the car, Adi got a gift-wrapped neatly and handed over that to Pari. Pari was really surprised.
Pari: What is this? I can’t take any gifts from you.
Adi: Pari opens it 1st. I bet you can’t say no to this. I have chosen this for you after a lot of rejection. So please don’t deny.
Pari opened the packet, there was a beautiful bandhani saree in it. The color is so pretty and the work was so fine that her eyes glittered and she accepted that.
Adi: This from our shop. For you my Pari.
Pari: This gift is beyond my explanation. Thank you so much. Your choice is really good. I can’t say no to this master piece.
Adi: Thank God you liked this.
An overwhelmed Pari hugged Adi. The hug lasted for a minute or so. While separating from each other Adi’s lips touched Pari’s cheek. The moment was magical. Both of them felt it and enjoyed.
Pari went to her hotel room and freshened up. She took a paper from her notebook and wrote a thank you letter for Adi. On the way to the airport, she handed it over to Adi.
Adi: You know the 1st time you wrote a letter was a sorry note for being unable to join me for a tea at the institution. And this time a thank you note. My dynamic Pari. Now comes the hardest part of the day. We reached the airport.
Pari: Now I don’t want to leave you adi.
Adi: Stay with me na.
Pari: That is not going to happen and you better know that. Thanks for the wonderful time we spent together. Life is more beautiful I started realizing now. And…..
Adi stopped her in between.
Adi: Save something for tomorrow. Don’t vomit everything today. Stupid….feel the moment, live the memories. No need to discuss this. You can thank me later. Now go….
Pari: Are you crying?
Adi: No….you go…you will be late.
Pari: My emotional Adi. You will be soon in Kolkata. We will meet regularly. Then why are you upset?
Adi: I can’t trust myself that’s why.
Pari: What?
Adi : Nothing.
And Adi hugged her tightly again, kissed her forehead and caressed her hair.
Pari was overwhelmed and tear drops ran out of her eyes. Adi wiped her tears, cupped her face in his hands and his silence assured her that he will be soon in Kolkata. No need to worry. Pari said bye to Adi and left.
After reaching Kolkata airport Pari took out her phone. A big paragraph of the message was in her inbox from Adi. Every word he wrote for Pari was genuine and heart touching. Without wasting a minute Pari called him, both of them talked till Pari reached her home. Till then both of them were really closer. And this continues for a while. Pari was eagerly waiting for Adi’s return to Kolkata. Adi always assured him he would be back soon once everything is fine in his home. Pari understood his circumstances and waited for him.
One of the finest mornings Pari woke up and sent Good Morning message to Adi and waited for his reply but it did not come. Pari waited till afternoon it was blue ticked but no reply came from Adi. Adi always replies after seeing her message but this time he did not. Without wasting a moment Pari called him but Adi cut her call.
Now Pari was quiet sure that Adi was in some problem. She patiently waited for Adi’s response. In the evening Adi called her.
Pari: Hey Adi…Any problem?
Adi: No nothing.
Pari: You did not message me or call me throughout the day. Is everything alright?
Adi: Nothing happened like that Pari.
Pari: Any problem Adi. You seem lost.
Adi: Actually Sneha reached here in Ahmadabad today morning. It was her surprise visit for me.
Pari: Oh..Great. So now I understand. You did not get time to message me. That’s absolutely fine. I was actually worried if you are alright or not. Now I am relaxed. You spend time with her and message me when you are free.
Adi: Actually Pari she saw my phone and your message in the morning and asked about you. That was a bit awkward.
Pari: hmm…I know.
Adi: So …
Pari: I won’t text you. Don’t worry.
Adi: Actually I am outside my home and calling you. Gotta go now.
Pari: Take care, Adi.
Adi: bye.
The conversation ended and Pari could sense that something had changed. And it did actually. Now their phone calls reduced to zero and they rarely chatted. Pari waited and waited for his message. She never asked about Sneha. And one day the message frequency also reduced to zero. What happened to Adi, Pari never got to know. And the contact list. Pari dialed once Adi’s number and it was switched off. She tried several times and out of concern messaged him. All in vain. The messages were single ticked. Pari searched Adi on every social media platform but never found it.
One day she stopped searching for him anymore and that was the only day she cried for Adi for the last time. Adi has vanished from Pari’s life. Pari never got to know the exact reason behind the disappearance of Adi. She assumed that he has moved on in life with Sneha.
After 6 years……
Now it has been almost 6 years since then. Pari opened her facebook profile. Suddenly her eyes stopped near the post where Aditya has updated his cover photo. It is something eye-catching for Pari to watch. The photo has Sneha and Adi holding a baby girl. Probably it’s her birthday. The candle on her cake shows 2 in it. That means she is 2 years old. She zoomed in the photo. The name written on the cake is “ Happy Birthday Pari.”
Pari looked at the photo and their beautiful baby girl again and gave a heartfelt smile. Looking at Pari her husband Rohit smiled at him and asked,
Rohit: Someone is very happy today. What’s the matter?
Pari: Nothing, look at this photo you will also smile like me.
Rohit took a look at the photo and gave a mischievous smile to Pari.
Rohit: So my Pari wanted a baby? Aan haan….
Pari: Noooo
Rohit:Oh yes…. I got it.
Pari: You know nothing Jon snow……
Rohit and Pari ended up with a pillow fight and hugged each other. Their loud laugh echoed in their room.
