The Sleeping Beauty

Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess named Princess Aurora fondly called Rose. It was Rose's christening party and she was very excited to receive gifts from all the fairies in the universe. The palace was lit up with beautiful lights and holy decorations looking spectacular in the night darkness.

Princess Aurora's parents had invited all the fairies except the evil black fairy Sishu, fearing she would cause trouble in their party. The ritual for the christening party got started and everyone blessed the little princess with virtues along with gifts. Suddenly all the lights started blinking and a vicious laughter was heard.

It's black fairy Sishu coming,one of the fairies warned. And soon in a flying broomstick Sishu entered the mansion, with a grin on face and a sinister smile she looked at little Rose and said, " Your parents invited the whole universe and not me, this insult you will have to pay princess, I curse you Rose, you will get pierced by a metal spindle, will be deeply wounded and will die.That day I will rejoice for this insult" and with a loud vicious laughter black fairy drove back.

The happy mansion soon got enveloped into the darkness while Rose's mom cried and fell down in grief for the curse bestowed on her little princess.

The party was suspended and everyone went home. Next day, the anxious parents immediately ordered all spindles and needles to be removed from the palace to ensure the unfaithful day for Sishu's curse never arrives.

15 years later...

Princess Rose was happily playing in her palace garden with her other fairy friends until they saw a beautiful butterfly flying around the flowers; it was a very unique colourful butterfly, all the fairies ran around to hold but it vanished and surpassed the window connected to the backyard. All the fairies went to the backyard in search of butterfly, it was dark in the backyard with only the sunshine light coming from the caged window at one corner. The fairies started to rummage through the old items when accidentally princess Rose's hand got pierced by the metal spindle hidden in the backyard. She started bleeding profusely, all the fairies got scared and informed the parents and god fairy mother. Rose's mom pleaded with everyone to save her daughter from the curse and save her life.

Fairy Godmother said we can't remove the curse of another fairy but I can reduce the danger and change the spell, Rose will not die but she will fall asleep for the next few years until a noble prince comes to her rescue.Fairy godmother spells a chant on Rose and says Rose will be back to life if the prince reaches to her before the sand in this hourglass gets finished. When Rose gets up she shouldn't be scared hence the entire mansion will fall asleep until she wokes up till then we will have to leave, godmother said, holding the hands of Rose's parents.

50 years later...

The Charming Prince Chars was on a hunt when he got lost into a forest and saw a beautiful mansion. He got down from the horse to follow a beautiful butterfly in the garden which led it to the mansion entry. Prince Chars was stunned with the beauty of the palace, it looked surreal. As he wandered across the mansion he could see Fairy Rose in deep sleep, he went closer to have a look at the fairy, her face was covered with her beautiful brown tresses as she slept in a veiled curtain. Next to the table was the hourglass, Prince Chars held the hourglass and the sand stopped dripping down as if the time had halted and it was only Prince in motion at the palace.The flowers,breeze all seemed at halt. Prince could feel his heart throbbing loud.He moved the net curtains apart and slowly slided the tresses from the fairy's face.As the touch of Prince was felt on Rose's face she woke up from the long sleep. Her blue mermaid eyes made the entire mansion lit up in sunshine. 

"Oh my Prince, I had been waiting for you! " she said in her sweet voice. Prince fell in love with Rose at her first sight and planted a kiss at her cheek, all the fairies entered the mansion and spelled stars on them to rejoice the life of the princess.

Prince Chars and Princess Rose got married and they lived happily ever after.
